Jun 5, 2010Have downloaded some tones to use as my sms tone, but when i go to set them it only shows the stock ones, and not those i have downloaded.

Oct 9, 2010I do not have the application "Android Market service on my Experia X10 as it was bought in Saudi Arabia, is there another application i can use to download ring tones onto my phone, frankly the ones installed by the factory wouldn't wake up a canary.

Jul 22, 2010Newbie here - just found this forum, and have a million and one questions about my Xperia X10 that I am getting increasingly frustrated with. Hope you can help.
1st off - And I apologise if this is answered properly elsewhere, but I can't find a satisfactory answer! How the hell can I choose what SMS tone is used for each individual contact; and how can I set it to silent for some contacts?? Please - is there a definitive guide anywhere??
One would expect to go into Phonebook, select the contact, press Edit, and have an option for SMS tone - but no!!
Ideally, I would like to set the SMS tone to silent for most contacts - so I got "Tone Picker". But even using Tone Picker, Set Notifications, Complete action using Tone picker, select Silent - DOES NOT WORK!!! I still get the notification tone on all texts! And Tone picker doesn't allow me to set the SMS tone per contact.

Ive searched mediascape but they're not to be found.Ive tried office suite but every file i click it just goes to black screen and says unsupported file.I know theyre on the phone because when i put my usb cable in,they show up on my PC as being there.

Nov 29, 2010I downloaded some apps from Market. They all downloaded successfully but I cannot see them when i go to Menu and then click on the 'App' Icon. When i click on the 'App' Icon it says 'To add widgets open the vodafone shop and download your widgets' I already have the apps installed on the phone for sure, just need the shortcuts to appear under the 'App' button.

Sep 1, 2010Question, when we listen to music on our X10's through the "External Speaker (That puny little thing)" are we listening to 5.1 or something else. When we are listening to the same music via headphones (Hard wire connected), are we listening to 5.1 or something else.
I ask this, because most phones will only play 5.1 with a headset on, but they will state that. Within the last month, I used the Captivate and it stated it only played 5.1 through a headset.

Sep 30, 2010Hi there, I have a Xperia X10 mini, the problem I have is: I set a song from my music libery as a signal for the sms (text messaging) when I recieve one. When I recieve a message and open the message to read it, the music signal tune won't stop and it's keep on going on and on and on, there is no way to stop it.
