Though I've found a lack in my or the phones abilities:
How do I attach a contact to a text message or an email?
I'm using Roadsync email
How I do it now is: Navigating to the contact I would like to forward, edit it, mark and copy the phone number, paste it into a text/email, write the name of the contact and press send.
Features I also would like to see in the future:
Have the Roadsync application use the "Full Name" field instead of the "File As" field, when syncing contacts with MS-Exchange.

Jun 12, 2010I am unable to attach even short videos to send via text message, or whatever you want to call it. it says that the files are too large attach. i have had success in teh past with other phones having this feature, so i guess i sort of figured id be able to do it on this phone.

Aug 19, 2010love my new x10,beautifully.conquered most probs. but i use sky mobile TV, had it on n97 and worked lush. the x10 seems to de scale it small and stream it in 3gp making it look uguly and distorted on the large screen. laso noticed their no media settings to play with. same with youtube on t-mobile and beep player,and yango, all the streams seem to be limited and the phone not showing the full asspects of the streamed videos.does anyone have any tips or use mobile TV?

Ive searched mediascape but they're not to be found.Ive tried office suite but every file i click it just goes to black screen and says unsupported file.I know theyre on the phone because when i put my usb cable in,they show up on my PC as being there.

Nov 6, 2010OK so someone on my other forum was having problems with where to store videos on the SD card so that Mediascape can 'see' them. Easy I thought, but I spoke too soon. So now I bow to someone else's superior knowledge, where the heck do you store them? Tried Video, Media, getting desperate DCIM file and just plain old root of the SD card.I know 3rd party apps can find them... got MixZing and it found it no problem from the video file.

Oct 8, 2010I've taken several videos using my Xperia X10 (fantastic phone btw!). I can watch them back on my phone, however, when I open MediaGo, they are not on the "video clips" area but instead are in the "other files" area. Fine, however, when I try to play them, I get the following message "The file does not appear to be supported.
If you would like Media Go to attempt to play it, right click the file and choose re-scan". I do the "re-scan" but alas, am met with the same message when trying to play the video file? It seems strange that I captured the video on my x10, can play it on my x10, however, MediaGo for some reason doesn't support it?

Jul 1, 2010Okay, so when I use the you tube app on just about every other phone, there is sometimes a button at the corner of a video to let me upgrade to the high quality version of the vid. This does not happen when I use the app on the X10. Do I just need to do an upgrade, or is this some bizare thing that the x10 just doesn't do?

Nov 8, 2010I have been trying for hours to try and figure out how to get videos to load into mediascape and I have tried multiple different ways. I have copied files directly and I have used Media Go. I have converted the files to mpeg4 with many different conversion programs and I still cant get any videos to show up. Is this a known issue? Is there some kind of setting that I'm missing? I've tried to transfer files from my old phone tthat were in 3GPP format and I converted that. Also I have tried other video files that were not on my old phone and I have had no luck. I have transfered music and photos with no problem.

Jun 27, 2010Just got an x10 I convert and move mpeg4 videos to the phone. The videos play fine however they are not full screen in landscape. Instead in landscape mode they are more square shaped videos.
How can i play videos in full wide screen?
I havent downloaded any video/media player apps, im using thr default one on the x10.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Cannot Send Video In MMS
Aug 15, 2010So today I filmed the kids to send through MSS to their gramps. I used the MMS setting on the camera since the X10 can't edit video (amazing blunder if you ask me). But even with this setting the video gets too large to send. I've tried to change the allowed size in Handcent but that only removes the message about too big a file. The MMS is marked by a red clock indicating not sent. The original app does the same thing. Anybody else with this problem? The phone is rooted now but since so little can be removed after rooting due to problems with other apps I guess I'll just un-root it soon and live with Moxier. It's basically the only major app that can be removed without consequenses.

Sep 10, 2010How do I send multiple SMS to my contacts on Xperia X10? First of all it doesn't give a dropdown list of my contacts So I manually input by selecting the first letter of my contacts names. Only limits it to several, i'd say about 10/12 people. Then when I send the message, in the notification I get a message saying sms failed. Only 2 people seem to recieve the actual SMS. This is really frustrating.
