i want to download videos off the internet and save them to my laptop, than put them on my phone, is there a software for free i can download that downloads the movies off the internet?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just done a factory reset and have only set up my market and downloaded net monitor.For some reason the phone is always downloading when it is connected to wifi. I am talking about 12mb per night. I thought it was one of my apps so I did a factory reset, after the reset the phone is still downloading at a rate of about 150 kb every 5 min. what is this should I be worried?I've also noticed If I am connected to 3g instead of wifi it downloads much less, maybe 50kb per night.

I can watch them back on my phone, however, when I open MediaGo, they are not on the "video clips" area but instead are in the "other files" area. Fine, however, when I try to play them, I get the following message "The file does not appear to be supported.
If you would like Media Go to attempt to play it, right click the file and choose re-scan". I do the "re-scan" but alas, am met with the same message when trying to play the video file? It seems strange that I captured the video on my x10, can play it on my x10, however, MediaGo for some reason doesn't support it?
My phone has been downloading a wallpaper for 5+ days from Rogers. How do I make it stop? it's clearly not going to download, and all of my other internet connections are working fine. I'm afraid it's eating up my data!

I imported all my contacts from old Sim to new x10 phone now I want to use that sim to put in other phone but cannot import contacts to Sim - there doesnt seem to be an option. Very annoying.... Should not have thrown away old sim.

You can only send a business card through bluetooth and I tried sending myself a text from my other phone so I could forward it. But that won't work either because I can only send a text from my address book or in reply to a text within a thread. Any ideas?

The problem I have is films only play as tiny thumbnails, about 1 x 1.5 inch.
I've transferred by drag and drop and via media to go, even tried setting defaults, but to no avail.
I've figured out most things with my phone but not this.
It's really infuriating as I've bought a phone for it's big screen only to watch small sized clips.
