Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Timescape Widget Appearance On Home Screen

I just got my white X10 a couple of days ago and I'm loving it! Well, asides for one relatively minor issue which is the appearance of Timescape on the home screen. I really liked the transparent look Timescape had with the SE logo prior to setting up facebook and email, etc. Now there's usually someone's FB display picture or an email being displayed, which is nice and all but I don't really like having to it all the time. I'd much rather see it when I want to by just tapping the tile and entering timescape as I'm a fan of the clean look it had before the setup.
I was wondering if there was a way to change the timescape widget's appearance to what it was before I set it up without losing its functions. In other words I want it to work the way it is now but have it look the way it did on the home screen before I set it up. To illustrate what I mean, I would like to change timescape widget from looking like this:

On Android 1.6 I was using Timescape as my home screen. Now after installing the 2.1 update I can't set Timescape as my home screen.

I have my phone set to have Timescape as my home screen. Before I switched, I could make new application folders in the settings menu. Having Timescapes as the mohe screen, that's no longer an option. Does any one now how to create application folders when Timescape is your home screen?

I am a new member and a relatively new owner of an X10i. Overall I am happy with the phone but I am hoping some can answer a question. When I press the home button (middle one) I get a prompt to select to 'Complete Action using Home or Timescape' This is quite annoying. I want the default action to be Home (not Timescape) but despite ticking the box in the prompt it still pops up this box.

My Timescape widget is not updating and still shows an SMS I received almost a week ago as the most recent message with caption "2 hours ago". I have changed my facebook updates to "Update automatically = never" and not included in the main spline, but have SMS and emails regularly appearing which is what I want to see in the widget. Anyone else got similar issue, or even better anyone 'had' similar issue and found a fix they'd like to share? At the moment it's a big waste of screen space.

Im trying to take the timescape logo off my home screen (as its right in the centre and i dont use timescape) i know its possible as the guy in this link hasnt got it on his home screen

When I press the home key on the X10 I get the usual stuff like Time and 4 buttons at the bottom of the screen, but at the top of the screen I get facebook stuff from the Timescape. How do I remove it with just the Sony Ericsson logo.

I have noticed a probable gltich in the timescape, excuse me if I had mistaken. I see that all my accounts(face book,Twitter, SMS) are updated correctly but I don't find the call log and my email view of timescape correctly updated. Please help out to get this corrected. PS I am using the 1.6 version of Android.

Timescape is not updating facebook.I chat with an SE member and i was told to clear cache and data.I set up the timescape again but now it only shows an update from one person 2 days old.What is going on?

i can not get the gmail messages at the timescape app. i already have as default my gmail acount which works well through the gmail icon or by choosing a contact. I have xperia10 the big one. Hope there is someone who can help me.

Timescape wont load on my phone, i get the error message 'the application timescape provider [provider com.sonyericsson.android.contentmanager.service.ti mescape] has stopped unexpectedly. why is this? i have rebooted my phone, this also sometimes happened to my messaging application

Don't get me wrong : I don't like that app and i never had the intend of using it. But i do like the widget on the homescreen, were it shows the SE logo (when it's not setup). Unfortunatly my phone activated the app while in my pocket and the SE logo dissapeared . Is there anyway just to reset it? make it show the Logo again ?

I have hundreds of friends on facebook so when I got this phone, i was expecting tonnes of updates on Timescape. All I'm getting are small notification such as someone uploading one picture to their profile. I don't see any status updates at all.

I have a peculiar problem with updates for Facebook in Timescape.If I enter Facebook directly all updates are shown fine. However, there have been no updates to facebook posts in Timescape for 2 days - setting is set to update per hour. If I click through one of the old posts in timescape it shows me a Facebook login screen - but whenever I type in my Facebook login it flicks back the emailaddress/phone number to show my phone number rather than my username!?

My home screen has changed to where there are 4 buttons across the bottom of the screen. I cannot get my phone back to the way it worked originally , don't know why it changed either.

I've just got an X10 and although I'm sure it worked originally if I now click on a Facebook tile in Timescape it no longer loads facebook - the browser window appears but I just get no title in the progress bar thing and it goes a little bit across and then stays there forever.

So I always used timescap to update my twitter.
But now, when I try to post a new message, it just says: "can't update twitter".
The weird thing is, it does update twitter and I can receiver updates from people I follow.
This means that the account and twitter is working, but I just can't update my own status.
Then I just Seesmic, to see if it's a problem with my account. But that just works fine.
The main difference between timescape working and then not, is that I was on holiday in America.
There, it worked fine. Then I got back in the Netherlands and all of the sudden I can't update my status anymore.
While in America, my X10 updated the time wherever I went.
Back home, it didn't update the time automatically, so I did it manually.
That's the only thing I can think of that changed.
Does anyone know anything I can do? (besides restoring the phone).
I don't know if i'm the only one with this problem, if not, there must be some sort of solution for it.
