i have 3 home launchers sony ericsson home , adw launcher and helix launcher so lets say if im using helix launcher as home default does other 2 launcher uses display memory also to drain battery? do they run at background? is it good to have 3 homes? im on fw 026 and rooted and i wana get most out of my battery.

I face one problem today is that for cleaning my X10 i shutdown my phone and i remove the battery, on that time the battery is upto 85% charge. After a couple of second i reinsert the battery and reboot my phone. While rebooting it shows that please connect the charger the battery is low and it automatically shutdown. This is first time i am seeing like this please help is it a problem or? But all the phone if we remove the battery and reinsert there is a little % will be discharged. i don't no what this phone has.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI upgraded the firmware on my X10 to R2BA020 (Rogers) last weekend, and have noticed that ever since, maintaining a 3G data connection seems to drain my battery much quicker than it used to under the same conditions. I tend to tether my X10 to my laptop using PdaNet at work. Whereas doing so under the old 014 stock firmware would result in my battery dropping from 95% to 55-60% over the coarse of my 9-5 workday, it now drops to 55% by noon. I have verified that my X10 is indeed charging over the USB connection to my laptop, and nothing other than the firmware has changed. So I'm not quite sure what the issue might be.

Now the thing is that yesterday I noticed the battery was draining a little bit faster than usual, I had been using the Particle Storm Live Wallpaper, so I thought that was the reason. What was my surprise when I changed to an static wallpaper and noticed the battery kept going down really fast. I checked the battery usage and it said that Wifi was draining 33%, Screen 20 something and the live wallpaper only 3 %. Is it normal for Wifi to drain so much battery? Does it depend on the use or what? Shouldn't 3g drain more battery than Wifi?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just recently rooted my phone, but don't have the latest OTA Update, Just some background info.
I installed Launcher Pro which I love for the customization and look of it, I honestly do not want to get rid of it. I used Home Screen(haven't Uninstalled) to switch my default launcher to Launcher Pro. I pretty much don't have any widgets besides a calendar widget I've always used and the default android weather widget and BatteryLeft Widget and it seems my battery drains in literally 4 hours.
I read up some where and figured that the sense UI is still running in the background, and I set it to clear state so it have no widgets running either but the phone still has a terrible battery life.
I'm just really confused how some people have launcher pro and it doesn't drain their battery's at all and I have it and every 3 hours I have to replug my phone back in. I've been trying to figure this out but I can't think of anything and was wondering if other people have had this same problem a and have a solution..
If you need anymore information on what apps I have running and what widgets please let me know.
I have Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, I downloaded ADW Launcher, when it had installed it wouldn't let me click open it was just grayed out, I am pretty sure it will work on Android 1.6.

I have Advanced Task Killer app and when you open it it shows something called "Available Memory". This value used to be around 110MB but I have noticed in last few days that its more like 43MB....so what is using my memory if there are apparently no apps running? What does your phone say when you close all apps? My phone doesn't seem any slower etc but this value is definitely less than it used to be!

View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought a new Sony Ericsson X10 xperia mini pro.. it has a 2GB memory card..but since i want to expand the memory i bought a new 8 GB memory card and inserted it..and when i restart the phone, the phone shows SD card removed. Insert a new one. And definitely the SD card is not corrupted since it works fine on the other phones. If the problem is with my phone then it should not be detecting the 2 GB card but it detects only that card and not the new one.

Since last 4-5 days, I am seeing that whenever I connect my phone to my laptop (using usb), the phone restart and during this time I will have access to memory card for few seconds (30 sec), after that the card gets unmounted (from PC) and I will see a warning symbol (yellow triangle) on phone's notification bar. So i am unable to copy data to and fro from my phone. All this trouble started since I upgraded to 2.1 Note: I have checked the memory card by putting it to another phone and it works fine.
