Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Can't Turn Bluetooth On - Solve This?

I got my new AT&T Xperia X10 last week. For the first couple of days, all seemed well. On Saturday, I lost effective wi-fi. In settings is indicates that I am connected to my witeless access point, but when I try to access the internet, I am told that there is no connection. Also, at about the same time, I haven't been able to turn on bluetooth. In settings again, I select turn on bluetooth. Then it goes off for a while, and times-out. This cycle repeats itself continuously as lonk as I hit the OK button.

Vodafone replaced by x10 xperia due to a fault and the replacement wont switch on with my Micro SD card i took out of my old phone in it. It will however, switch on with it not inserted. Has all my numbers etc on it...any suggestions ?

I can't get bluetooth to run on my X10. I don't usually use it but today I wanted to. Everything else I have set to off to save battery life. I only use 3G for Internet use which I cannot do without.
My phone says it is up to date. I am sure there are a quadrillion updates or fixes users of X10 want. I have to say though, this is actually my first and only problem with X10.

I bought this phone a few days back and i can't seem to get the wifi or the bluetooth to turn on, am i missing something? Also, i downloaded the Idroid ADW theme so i could have those little dudes as my icons and it doesn't seem to have worked. Is it supposed to automatically change or is there something i have to do?

Ive been a X10 user for a few months now... I havent had any issues with this phone up until now when I decided to use bluetooth. Everytime I use bluetooth, it works for a small period of time and then hangs itself... It simply disconnects and refuses to pair again... This happens with my stereo headset and also with the Wiimote I use for playing games on the phone... At first I thougnt this might be an issue with the headset (which didnt have the best reception, choppy audio and bad quality, specially for an official SE headset) but I really noticed the issue after I started using my Wii remote to play games on the phone since I know the remote works flawlessly on the Wii itself... The problem is that it stops working, refuses to pair again and when I turn off Bluetooth, it doesnt turn on again, no matter how long I try, forcing me to restart the phone... Only to work again after rebooting and hanging again after some use...

I had this problem while installing media go in my PC. it couldn't be installed. a dialog box appears says "The Visual C++ Redistributable has failed to install. Please consult the Microsoft knowledge base article at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/556085/ja for more information on this problem"
when i opened it, the contain was all Japanese language i don't understand.

I can't sync my mobile with my SE account. I don't know why, but this problem is for 2 days. Yesterday after half hour of retry I synchronized my telephone after telephone restart, but now again the. I tried to restart my phone, but nothing changed.

I'm from Indonesia and using Xperia X10 SIM Free version that bought from Hongkong with the newest firmware.
I was living in Japan and used Xperia there without any issues, but yesterday, after I arrived at Indonesia, changed to Indonesia's SIM Card and done the SIM Card activation progress, my phone started to act strangely.
If I insert the Indonesia's SIM Card and turn on the phone, my phone will automatically shut down after the Sony Ericsson's logo appeared.
And if I just turned it on without any SIM Card inserted, it will look fine but, at sometime, like when I was confirming the setting, the phone will also shut down suddenly.
Please tell me if anyone has the idea how to solve this issue.

I tried to update the phone by connecting it to computer thru PC companion and followed the instructions till the time it asks to disconnect the phone from computer remove battery for 5 secs and turn on again.
Now at this step the phone is not turning on and whenever i press the power key, red notification light is blinking 3 times and nothing else is happening.

All of my sound for media and videos ect comes out of my earpeice, not speaker.... I don't understand..... I have a feeling that i has to do with the installed vonage app, which I did uninstall. Headphones will work fine but.... is there anyway to solve this problem?

So yesterday I was able to update my x10 to 2.1, everything has worked perfectly. The only problem that i have is that when I close the "Backup and restore" app (I already restored all my data) using "task manager", the phone blocks the SIM card and I have to introduce the PIN again.

Ive had my xperia x10 for about 5mnths now and have since bought a different phone as its easier for work, I want to give my xperia x10 to my wife to use as its a great phone and dont want to just leave in drawer, When i insert her vodaphone sim into my orange locked xperia it wont switch on but as soon as i replace with my orange sim it works and powers up just fine,i know i will have to unlock with code from a website but if it dont turn on to start with then im buggered.Im a little confused.com to say the least, works with mine but wont turn on with hers/

I just got the Experia X10 mini, my old phone was also a sony ericsson. My first problem has been the transfer of my contacts, I saved my contacts from my old phone onto my new sim but when I put the sim into the X10 it says there is nothing on it! So I desided to bluetooth them across and I cant find the X10. The bluetooth is defo on and discoverable. Not even my mate can find it. I phoned my contract supplier and they informed me that this a know problem with sony ericsson and I should get an update.

I am having problems with bluetooth.I can receive bluetooth files but for some reason i get an error when trying to send photos or music via bluetooth to other devices.I don't understand. Both devices are paired and are discoverable yet when I try to send anything i get a message 'Error! Could not send file'.Any ideas what the problem is?
