Has anyone experience call dropped and piercing heat on the ear?
was on a call and it dropped (cut off) 3 times in 10 mins and the ear felt a slight piercing pain and the phone is getting warm. Is not a good sign.

The phone was partially submerged, and when I pulled it out of the water it was playing a movie. Water literally ran out from the darn thing. Took it apart, blew it out with compressed air after removing the battery, and chips, then placed it in a bag of rice.
I let the x10 stay hidden buried overnight in that bag of rice in the pantry, put the chips and battery back in it next day, and fired it up with no issues. It definitely had a mind of it's own while the water was inside it! Remember this bag of rice trick. The fog cleared from the camera eye and everything. NICE! Good unit this x10i.
Is it just me or is it SUPER annoying that the phone locks itself whenever you finish a call? Is there an option that I can set the phone to NOT automatically lock itself after ending a call?

I can make phone calls, receive calls, ditto with texts messages. I have Data roaming on, Network Mode GSM/WCDMA preferred set, and have a connection to a local Belgian GSM provider.But anything to do with the internet does not work. Like set up connection to my email address, or create a Gmail account, or use my browser.So what's up? Do I just need buy something from my Israel Orange when I get back there? Or is there something obvious?

And also the in call volume is way to low, I am a gas engineer and working on site with this phone is a nightmare I can not hear a thing. Will the 2.1 update change this? I am very happy with my X10 Mini Pro. I am a fan of Sony Ericsson Phones for years I had a W995 IO still have it and like it very much. But people this X10 Mini Pro is a wonderful device. I had to get used too it. But now after two weeks fine tuning the phone I am very happy with it. I am still in doubt if it needs a hardware button for starting and stopping a phonecall. I wonder what other user4s think about this?

Basically, the story goes as follows...normally when I receive a call I have to do that swipe thing to accept the call, however, at very random times instead of the swipe I get the option of pressing 'Accept Call' or 'Decline Call' which are displayed on the lower part of the screen side-by-side. Now, to be perfectly honest I actually prefer the latter option but do not know why it is so random. To be clear, I have never updated my phone since I got it and I have searched the settings but not been able to locate anything which would explain this.

But the built-in mic doesn't seem to work when I have the headphones still plugged in? So the caller can't hear me talk... Is this a setting I have overlooked?
