I just cant get the Internet to work and its getting really annoying. I have tried the standard settings, mobile networks, access points names, but when I tap on access points names I just a get a blue screen. There is no option to add a new one.

I've been emailing the dev of Toggle Data Widget because I could not get it to work on my droid reading through the comments I was not the only one. He is telling me to look in my settings under wireless & networks and tell him what I have for APN's. Well the thing is I don't even have anything in there! Does some body know where to find what he's talking about? I emailed him telling him I couldn't find it anywhere and he seems baffled as well.

I live in Hong Kong so phone numbers are 8 digits, but incoming numbers display with the international code without +. But I cannot save phone numbers without + because it won't dial out.

I'm ready to rooted my phone and flash a ics firmware (rom) on my samsung galaxy note N-7000. when I flash, will my access point names be ok. I've already went ahead and copy on paper the way they are now so I wont lose them.
P.S. Your access point names are how you get your data from your cell phone provider such as at&t, sprint, boost mobile, etc etc. It has nothing to do with your wi-fi.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI used Apps Organizer to create folders of related apps (like Games, Japanese, etc) to go on to my home screen. I rather like it. Just one irritation, to which I wonder if anyone has a solution. If I switch the phone off for any reason, when I switch it back on, the folders are all still on the home screen, with the icon I have attributed to the folder, but the names all change to 'Apps label'. I can't find any obvious solution, other than to delete the shortcuts and reintroduce them, but would be grateful for anyone's thoughts. If there is another similar application I could use in its place, that would be fine - I'm not especially attached to Apps Organizer, though I do like it other than the name thing.

2.Is it possible to assign a contact name to a photo that has been downloaded to the phone?For example, if I happened to download a few pictures of Zhang Ziyi, can I create her as a contact and get the phone to recognise the pictures as being of her?I don;t see a way of doing it.The photos are clear shots that include her face.Again, perhaps I have to do it through the computer?
Just wondering how I can get all my contacts showing the correct name in my phonebook. After 2.1 upgrade it imported all my facebook buddies, and because I call everyone by nicknames it has duplicated a lot of entries. I've tried "joining" the duplicates together to get just the one entry per person, but it seems to randomly choose whether they are stored under their facebook name or the nickname I have for them. I've tried entering what I want them to be called in the 'nickname' bit under the contact 'edit' screen, but again it seems to be random as to whether it then uses this name to display them in my contact list.

How do i stop my phone from remembering user names ? granted its useful for some things, but i don't want it remembering ALL of the words i input. just like Google chrome does !

Address Book Issue:
Suddenly after having it worked smooth for 3-4 days, I started getting a very strange problem which I was not able to search anywhere in forums or in the help manual.My address book search is not searching any contacts by the contact's names. It is just searching the emails, it's a huge problem for me especially when trying to send SMS to anyone, I can't go and add recipient by searching, I need to scroll the whole way down to that contact, which is irritating.
Otherwise the phone is quite nice and I am liking it very much. Especially the slide out keyboard is really usable plus unlike most smartphones, it's really small in size and performs most functions. There are some minor flaws but most of them are going to get fixed with the SE's much awaited software update for bringing in the Android 2.1, no doubt I am also waiting desperately.
Need a link where i can find the usb drivers for X10 or email me them? Seems that even if i have an account on developer.sonyericsson.com i can't access the drivers.

Recently I have installed Z4 Root and ROM Manager. When I click on ROM Manager, it asks to select Phone Model. And in the list I do not find Xperia X10. Can I select any phone model and run the process. Got little scared, as phone might brick.
