I have no internet connection on my Xperia X10 mini.If I try to use the browser I just get page unavailable, I have gone into basic settings and tried the settings download but that just tells me to come to the website to download them, where are they?.I then checked in the settings and it says the mobile network state is disconnected.

I want to disable mobile internet because it costs a lot of money. I'm almost always using WiFi. So my question is how, or with what application can I disable mobile internet?. but not MMS. I want still be able to sent and receive MMS.

after talking to orange on the phone for a long time, They were very help full, unlike Sony Ericsson, it turns out that while at home when my phone says its connected to WiFi, and is usually as I have tested by turning of data 3G and things on the hand set. It is still using 3G and streaming through the mobile internet.
Orange tell me its a problem with the handset and they have had a few people with the same problem. Orange kindly didn't charge me for my data use and told me to ring Sony who were very unhelpful and just claimed it isn't the hand set. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if any thing can be done. I now try to always have the 3G off but not sure if that is going to help.
I am trying to find where is the call log information: call duration and how many MB I used on mobile internet 3G or GPRS? For me it is important coz mobile internet in our country extremely expensive, so need to have control over how much did I used MB per month.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an AT&T Captivate and it has been working fine until yesterday. All of a sudden I can't connect to the internet and no 3G icon. I have restarted the phone, pulled the battery,put my sim card in my brothers captivate and it works fine on his. After the phone restarts the 3G icon will appear for maybe 1 minute and I connect for that short time then it disappears and no more 3G. If I switch to wifi I can connect just fine.

All shes done is installed a load of new apps.Is it possible that a bad app can screw the mobile data connection? Or could it be faulty phone? Tried the sim in another phone and data works fine so its not the network or sim.

I'm using opendesire 3.02 on o2 and I am having trouble connecting to the internet. I've tried many different APN settings, reflashed the rom (+ Radio) with full wipes and even over a few versions of opendesire still had no mobile internet. After typing *#*#4636#*#* it says GPRS Service: disconnected. Anyone no what type of preferred network I should use?

I had a software update come through recently which told me I needed to go to the Sony Ericsson website to update it.. I tried to do this and it appears I can only update it using a PC as its not compatiable with a Mac computer (which I have). I have tried running the software update on the phone and as it can't connect to the internet it wint update anything.. so Im stuck in a circle now.

Is there any apps or anything else which enables it to easy share internet? I have found something called Android wifi tether. But this does not work for Sony Ericsson.I really need an application for this purpose and I cannot wait until Sony Ericsson's comes with the update for Android 2.1.
