View 4 RepliesI have a strange problem with my Xperia X10....the call is getting disconnected immediately as soon as I dial the number
Also checked if its is an issue with the sim card but its giving problems to other sim cards also.
check all the call settings but of no use.
I have no internet connection on my Xperia X10 mini.If I try to use the browser I just get page unavailable, I have gone into basic settings and tried the settings download but that just tells me to come to the website to download them, where are they?.I then checked in the settings and it says the mobile network state is disconnected.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThis was reported in the other thread about X8 Issues, but thought to start a new one to gather feedback from users. It's about the ''black screen'' freezing issue encountered by some users. I have had this several times since owning the phone for a few weeks, so it is a recurring issue. Problem: The phone hangs or appears to be shut down or become unresponsive suddenly. Pressing the hardware buttons doesn't help as the phone doesn't react at all. Solution: Take out cover and battery and restart.Observations: From my own observations, it's not actually a shutdown but a major freezing/hanging. Sometimes when it happens, I can still see vague shades of the display at an angle. After leaving the phone for a while in the pocket, the phone comes back to normal again. Not sure if this is true for all users with this problem. Anyway, gathering more feedback to see how prevalent the problem is, to evaluate whether I should take it to the SE service centre, or whether doing so will help at all.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have installed various call recorder apps TotalRecall, VirtualRecorder, Voice2do, NoteEverything, Qmemo... but none of them record the sound of the person on the other side of the line. Can someone tell me which call recorder work for Xperia X 10 mini pro?
View 1 Replies View RelatedHi. I am looking for some advice with regards to how I receive calls on my Xperia X10i. Basically, the story goes as follows...normally when I receive a call I have to do that swipe thing to accept the call, however, at very random times instead of the swipe I get the option of pressing 'Accept Call' or 'Decline Call' which are displayed on the lower part of the screen side-by-side. Now, to be perfectly honest I actually prefer the latter option but do not know why it is so random. To be clear, I have never updated my phone since I got it and I have searched the settings but not been able to locate anything which would explain this.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThis has happened to me several times in slightly different cases. Several times I've mistakenly placed calls to the wrong people (due to just messing around with the phone).
In a panic, I pressed the "back" button thinking that it will cancel the call. It didn't. I also tried the "home" button. Also no good.
I had to drag down the notifications bar to see the phone call in progress and finally access the red Hang Up button. That worked. The problem is that is is SLOW. And worse, one time the phone would not respond to the button press until after several tries (maybe the CPU was busy on something).
Anycase, that would appear to be a major problem with all these touchscreen-only smartphones - lack of a physical Hangup button.
Is there any workarounds to this? Perhaps some sequence or combo of the existing physical buttons to forcefully hangup an errant call?
thinking to buy this phone , however from many forums and youtube comments , i found that this phone has way too low call volume that you cant even hear it when at noisy places. is this true ? be true to yourself and kindly reply.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am torn between the xperia and and the desire. While i like the xperia most the only thing that is holding me back from buying this phine is the low in call volume reported by many users. I am hearing impaired, and would like to know if this issue has been fixed with the new firmware or if this issue is still there.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen listening music, using Mediascape, I get an incoming call. When I accept it, music stops and I hear the caller. But the built-in mic doesn't seem to work when I have the headphones still plugged in? So the caller can't hear me talk... Is this a setting I have overlooked? Does anyone know how to keep the built-in mic working when I have just headphones (Sennheiser IE7 without mic obviously) plugged in?
View 2 Replies View RelatedJust bought the x10i and loving it, got a few problems but which phone on the market is 100% perfect. I do however have an issue with the low in-call volume and ringer volume. Its very low and struggling to hear the other party, I see from other threads this isn't an isolated issue. Will SE be sending out an update to solve this problem? It seems like a batch issue as not everyone is experiencing this fault.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi notice on a few occasions the ringer volume automatically, for incoming call, goes all the down to the left, thus phone just vibrates. i know i did not change the incoming call volume. it just does it automatically. has any experiences this before. how do i fix this because i miss calls when the phone just vibrates.
View 7 Replies View RelatedThe in call and ringer volume on X10 is way too low, I can hardly hear the other party on a call at a shopping centre or food court. This is very frustrating as making a phone call is the most basic function of a phone but X10 fail in this aspect badly. I am sure a firmware upgrade can increase the volume on X10, its just a matter of whether SE will implement it. Can everyone who had low in-call and ringer volume problem of your X10 report here and hopefully SE will listen to us and give us a fix ASAP. Other than this volume problem, I reckon its a fantastic phone. But SE gotta act NOW!

I have Data roaming on, Network Mode GSM/WCDMA preferred set, and have a connection to a local Belgian GSM provider. But anything to do with the internet does not work. Like set up connection to my email address, or create a Gmail account, or use my browser. So what's up? Do I just need buy something from my Israel Orange when I get back there? View 3 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased the X10 Android, am I dreaming this. I can not fid any way of having an on screen notification of a missed call. On my old Sony when I missed a call it displayed it on screen, I could then call the person and it was great. I am now missing calls and unless I look in calls I would never know.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI know this is nothing to do with the Android aspect of the Xperia X10 but was wondering what the rest of you thought of the voice call quality. The Wife and I both have one and when I call my friends on mine they say they can barely understand what I'm saying, when the Wife calls me on hers to my office land line I can barely understand what she is saying and to be honest calling each other on them is equally as bad. I'm going to test out both phones tonight with the wife using our home land line and see what she thinks... She's always had a mobile where I on the other hand wasn't interested in them until recently now they are more like a mobile office than just a phone. I'm never in a "bad" signal strength area when people tell me to speak up and I don't talk quietly anyway, they also tell me that as well as the muffled/distorted voice it's grainy and drops out frequently... Like someone is intermittently muting the mic, for example. I've had a ferret about the net and I'm drawing a blank, a few reviews say the voice call quality is poor/awful but than there are loads of others that say it's great. I love the phone and the rest of it is outstanding! I've stuck the Helix launcher on it, downloaded plenty apps for work (I'm a Software Engineer for Networked DVR's) including TFTP,FTP,SSH clients/servers, synchronized my calender and contacts with Gmail, ported all of my personal and work notes on to it, got a Dropbox set up, got a few gadgets to enable/disable the WiFi/APN/GPS as I need them so it doesn't chew up the battery... I literally almost couldn't be happier! I'm loathed to think that the one thing that doesn't actually work very well on this is in essence it's primary purpose and based on what I've read so far on the net I would say it's just my phone but as we have two doing the same thing it can't be. Does anyone else have a problem with the voice call audio quality or are there any known related hardware issues ?
