View 4 Replies View RelatedI love dolphin browser and have been using it for a few weeks now but. Every time I post on forums it always wants to double post, on here there is a 15 second gap before you can post again but on a lot of the forums I use are for work related pimping, well I post a lot on kite forums and run a kite school so it's kinda work related pimping. It's doing my head in as I have to go and delete a second post every time I post, just curious if any one else had this issue? It was there before I rooted my phone and it's there after I rooted my phone.

I'm running 1.6, R2BA024.
Two weeks ago I bought my new X10 and tried to install PlayNow. But PlayNow demanded an upgrade and started without the chooses of applications. It started always with the music selection and I havn't any chance to select another categorie. I made a software update for the firmware. I reinstalled PlayNow. But nothing changed. I have the german version and the mobile isn't branded. Furthermore the firmware is 1.6, baseband version 1.0.14 kernel version 2.6.29-rel with build number R1FA014.Please can you help me to get this application running?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have tried the task killer and that does not seem to stop the applications running. I find that everytime I open and application it I can not close it down it just runs in the background. I have tried force stop and that does not work so what is the answer?The more apps you have running the more it kills the battery life. Apple have released one for the iphone so I can not see it being a big problem to have one for the X10 users or I am missing a trick somewhere?

I've tried the "Force Off" function under Apps Settings, but still the Battery-use screen shows the radio as running. Is there a way to quickly check what apps are running in the background, and - preferably - easily switch them off?

flashed my phone, using SEUS, to 2.1.
Since then, Pc companion keeps poping me a warning message that I should update to latest version.
I click UPDATE NOW and then : another popup saying UPDATE FAILED.
I uninstal, reboot and d/l and install latest version from SE site. Install completes 100% succesfull.
Run the software and BAM ! popup telling that I should update to latest version.
I click on UPDATE NOW and UPDATE FAILED popup again.
at this point, no other choice are given to me. UPDATE NOW or QUIT SOFTWARE.
I also tried differents variable like uninstalling, reboot, connect phone and installing version in the phone.
This option let me run PC companion a while but after a short while, **** UPDATE POPUP show up and I can't do anything with it.
I just bought my SE x10 mini pro and today I said that there was some firmware updates for it. Then I updated the phone through PC companion and followed the screen and after a while the phone was updated. But then my problem started, I have some source code / text running in the upper right corner of my phone screen all the time. Every time I'm starting a new program or returning to home screen I can see the commands the phone is giving. How do I get rid of it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Xperia X10 mini is currently completely useless.
The symptoms:
I turn it on and it gets as far as the splash screen which says sony ericsson and shows the SE symbol and it gets no further. No error messages are displayed and it remains in that state until the battery runs out. The only action I can find is to press the power button and the middle button for a second or two to perform a reset but this results in it rebooting and getting to the exact same point. Plugging into a computer to charge up seems to charge it but when the power is sufficient it boots up and gets to the same point. PC Companion asks for me to mount the phone which is obviously impossible as i have no interface.
Possible causes:
Before this happened I put the phone into airplane mode. After doing this it displayed a message related to running out of space. This was strange as i haven't added any applications or even been using it as I am abroad. I deleted some data from a couple of applications that I don't use and restarted to the behaviour described above. The applications were user applications and completely unrelated to the system. Even a master reset if this is possible without being able to boot up the phone?
So just got the Sprint HTC Hero and tried the Snesoid lite. All the games run pretty slow. Most reviews i've seen for Snesoid that have been positive, the person had something like the Evo or incredible. Is there anything i can do to make Snesoid run well? Does getting the paid version of snesoid help? Getting another phone is not a solution.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am planning to buy a 32 gb micro sdhc card for my Xperia X10.However, I have found tons of confusing and conflicting information here on SE forums and all over the net.To my surprise, even Sony Ericsson itself giving conflicting information regarding this.On the product page of Xperia X10 (click this link and click on the specifications), it says that Xperia X10 supports microSD up to 16GB only.Whereas the official Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 White paper (on page no.5) says that it supports -microSD, up to 32 GB. (The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 White paper can be downloaded from this link).Now i urge someone, preferably an SE moderator or staff, to enlighten on this matter and answer how and why SE is giving contradictory and confusing statements regarding the sd card capability and compatibility for the same product?.

But when I do this there is no Sony Ericsson option.
I was surprised that SONY is not providing a software which enables the user to sync the Xperia X10 mini pro directly with your computer (e.g. Outlook).
After wasting a lot of time I generated an account at Sony webpage and managed all my accounts including "birthday" but now I found out that the
phone is not creating a corresponding calendar entry and therefore my phone is not reminding me for any birthday.
So I did some modding (unfortunately) to the framework-res.apk file and it worked the first time and a few other times but then I changed something and now when I turn on the phone it freezes at the "Sony Ericsson" screen before the logo. What do I do?
I tried pushing the backup framework file but it says "failed to copy framework-res.apk to /sdcard/framework-res.apk: Permission denied
However, when I use adb devices, it does show my device as being attached.
So what can I do now?
I was also able to pull files...
Also tried manually putting the framework-res.apk in the sdcard and then using adb to copy it to the framework folder. Doesnt work. Saids that the directory cannot be open for read. I guess the device cant read the SD card until it boots up.
I saw that there are already a number of discussions about sony erricson synchronization but I cannot find one for this specific message: Synchronization failed. It wouldn't tell me why it failed, it just spits out that generic message after I click "Finish" in the Sony Ericsson Sync Client Wizard.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'd like to use my X10 to keep all of my contacts' postal addresses in instead of the tatty old address book I carry in my handbag(!) I didn't fancy typing them all into the phone, so thought I would use the Sony Ericsson sync and put them into the pc first via the PC Companion sync application, and set up the sync to transfer them into my phone. I have tried a test run adding only a couple of addresses to my contacts on the pc, and adding one to my phone, but when I do a sync, the addresses don't transfer either way. I know that the actual sync is working because I added photos too and they transfer....... I must be doing something wrong that is easily rectified?

I have an Sony Ericcson x10i, and i just Syncronised my telephone.
I updated to the firmware .27 just a few days ago, and i had lots of new Contacts in my phone, BEFORE i updated.
And then i updated to 27, and all my contacts were removed ( at the time i had no clue i had all the contacts on SE.com database ) so i copied my old contacts from my SIM-card, and just before i synced i saw all my mew contacts from before i updated the telephone in my database, but now when the telephone synced again it replaced all the new contacts in my database with my old contacts from my SIM-card wich i copied into the phone after the update. how i can get my old database back from SE.com `?
After i reinstlled the phone when it started it gets stuck on the Black Screen saying "sony erricson". and it will not connect to companian..
