Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Deleting Individual Texts
Oct 21, 2010Got my X10 this morning and I can't for the life of me find out how to delete individual texts instead of the whole thread. How can I save the important ones whilst clearing out the dead wood? I've been trawling through here all day so.

Sep 9, 2010I have two folders in in my mediascape, one containing bluetooth pictures and one containing downloaded pictures. At present to delete these pictures I have to go through each picture individually. How can I delete the entire contents of each folder? I do not seem to have a tag feature where I can tag all of the photogrpahs that I want to delete in one go. Any ideas?

Aug 12, 2010I have a X10 Mini Android Terminal. The phone is very useful and delightful but i can't find how to delete some calls from the registry (answered, missed and dialed). The Phone just gives me the option to delete all the registry.
Can I delete some calls without erasing all of them?
If it's not possible with the phone itself, Is there another way to do it? Maybe dowloading an app from the Android Market?

Sep 3, 2010while in the process of setting up my phone, i created a gmail account, which i need so i can use market, etc. Just wondering if anyone knows how i can go about removing that gmail account. I spell my name wrong, so want to remove that email account and register a new one, but i can't find anywhere where i can delete it, it just keeps coming up to put my email in. I have deleted the incorrect gmail account on their website.

Sep 9, 2010I have set up my X10 to download emails, which it does successfully, however it deletes them of my service provider's mail server so that they don't come through to my PC any more.I have selected both options on the X10 in "Delete email from server" ie "Never" and "When I delete from Inbox", but each has the same result.

Nov 18, 2010I created a gmail account when I got this phone purely because it asked me to (usually I use hotmail), then started a new job, where my boss said she uses gmail to communicate. Everytime I checked my gmail on the phone it woudn't tell me MY email address, (because, I shoulda known it) but I couldn't remember what it was, so I made a new gmail account, and started using it at work. I didn't want to have two accounts so when I found out what the original account was (in the phone). I went online on my computer and deleted the account, intending to replace it with the newer one. However since deleting the old email account, I can no longer update any apps, or buy any new apps. It continously asks for the old gmail's password, but won't accept it when I've entered it.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Phone Keeps Deleting Random Contacts / Need To Change Sync Settings?
Jul 11, 2010My week old phone seems to randomly select contacts and deletes them from my phone. I have to then log onto the website and go into the synchronisation page and rummage around in the contacts trash to restore them and then re-sync..
I have the Google Sync selected within the Data Synchornisation settings but I have auto synchronisation turned off.
Do I need to change my sync settings or is there a problem?

Nov 17, 2010When I'm trying to transfer music files or whatever to my x10 mini pro via USB, files larger than 2.5Mb get completely hung up, crashing both my phone and my computer (this happens on my work desktop and my laptop at home, win7 and winXP). I have to disconnect the cable and take out the battery and restart my phone in order to fix it. Smaller files go quickly and without issue, which leads me to believe it's not an issue with the usb cable (I've tried a few different ones also). Also, if I transfer files to the SDcard directly using a card reader, it's no problem. This is super frustrating since it means I have to take the back off the phone and take the card out to move music around, and it's something I do pretty often.

Jun 18, 2010Please bear with me as I am a recent convert to Android having been with Nokia and their Symbian system for years It's soooo outdated compared to Android I have been trying to install both the Swype beta apk & the HTC keyboard apk files onto my X10 for the last couple of days. I followed the instructions to get the file on my SD card and when I go to try and install it (using Astro) the phone keeps on asking me if I want to install it . I have the option in 'Unknown Sources' ticked to allow installs NOT from the market. I was going to format the SD card to see if that helps but I don't know if that will lose any system files vital to the phone. Strange thing is that the ADW Launcher installed fine and I didn't get that from the market.

Sep 13, 2010This time I wanted to play some media , a WMV file, from FOXDIGITALCOPY, and it seems Xperia doesnt support it - atleast that's what the FOXDIGITALCOPY software tells me when I tried to sync up the media from my PC.
Also, this file doesnt even show up on the mediascape screen though I copied into the videos folder where other videos are saved.
I tried to play a more smaller and simpler file - the wildlife HD video sample from Windows - which is again a WMV file.
This time, Xperia tries to play it, but the video only comes up as stills while the audio plays as normal.
