I want to open jar(like games and books) files on my xperia, how to browse them without any external apps like Astro file explorer. IS there any inbuilt explorer available in the Xperia X10?

I cannot open the file sharing option the only time its will open is when the phone is not connected, so I do this then connect my phone and thats it nothing else.
I go on Media Go and I just cannot transfer any files over to my phone the only transfer option I get is to put it into another folder. My sd card that comes with the phone will keep saying unavaliable. Now I am not normally slow at working phones but this has me completely stumped.

So, I got my x10 like a week ago. I have not had any problems with it until today. Whenever I open up the wifi settings, the screen freezes and asks if I want to force close or wait. I have used the wifi a little before, but this is the first time that my phone has done this.
View 2 Replies View RelatedToday, when I connected the phone (SE Xperia x10i) to PC, I was shown 'update available'. I updated. All worked well, but the Market is not working after the update, nor is the browser. The market is showing 'loading' with terms and conditions (it is more than 3 hours now), while in the browser, only the Google homepage is opening.
No other site or Search option in Google is working. However, other widgets like Facebook, G mail or email is working fine. The phone is showing to be 'up to date'. I have accessed the market quite a number of times before the update & require some apps from it urgently.
I raised over and over to your Accredited Service Centers here in the Philippines namely MemoXpress and Semicon. I already escalated a lot of issues but they were not able to fix all of it and they just replaced my phone with new Xperia X2 phone not just once but twice. Unfortunately, some issues are still open and haven't fixed yet. See issues and recreational steps below.
1. Backlight is ON even the phone is turned OFF. Keep open any media file (i.e. picture, video, so on) >> Turn the phone off >> Backlight is still on
2. Battery is drained when the battery is removed and inserted it again. Turn the phone on >> Turn it off >> Remove battery >> Insert battery >> Turn the phone on >> Battery is drained..................

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I'm trying to transfer music files or whatever to my x10 mini pro via USB, files larger than 2.5Mb get completely hung up, crashing both my phone and my computer (this happens on my work desktop and my laptop at home, win7 and winXP). I have to disconnect the cable and take out the battery and restart my phone in order to fix it. Smaller files go quickly and without issue, which leads me to believe it's not an issue with the usb cable (I've tried a few different ones also). Also, if I transfer files to the SDcard directly using a card reader, it's no problem. This is super frustrating since it means I have to take the back off the phone and take the card out to move music around, and it's something I do pretty often.

View 1 Replies View RelatedPlease bear with me as I am a recent convert to Android having been with Nokia and their Symbian system for years It's soooo outdated compared to Android I have been trying to install both the Swype beta apk & the HTC keyboard apk files onto my X10 for the last couple of days. I followed the instructions to get the file on my SD card and when I go to try and install it (using Astro) the phone keeps on asking me if I want to install it . I have the option in 'Unknown Sources' ticked to allow installs NOT from the market. I was going to format the SD card to see if that helps but I don't know if that will lose any system files vital to the phone. Strange thing is that the ADW Launcher installed fine and I didn't get that from the market.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis time I wanted to play some media , a WMV file, from FOXDIGITALCOPY, and it seems Xperia doesnt support it - atleast that's what the FOXDIGITALCOPY software tells me when I tried to sync up the media from my PC.
Also, this file doesnt even show up on the mediascape screen though I copied into the videos folder where other videos are saved.
I tried to play a more smaller and simpler file - the wildlife HD video sample from Windows - which is again a WMV file.
This time, Xperia tries to play it, but the video only comes up as stills while the audio plays as normal.
Want to put some video's on my X10. i don't have to take my sd card out all the time.
