Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Bluetooth Stops Working - Doesnt Turn Back On?

Ive been a X10 user for a few months now... I havent had any issues with this phone up until now when I decided to use bluetooth. Everytime I use bluetooth, it works for a small period of time and then hangs itself... It simply disconnects and refuses to pair again... This happens with my stereo headset and also with the Wiimote I use for playing games on the phone... At first I thougnt this might be an issue with the headset (which didnt have the best reception, choppy audio and bad quality, specially for an official SE headset) but I really noticed the issue after I started using my Wii remote to play games on the phone since I know the remote works flawlessly on the Wii itself... The problem is that it stops working, refuses to pair again and when I turn off Bluetooth, it doesnt turn on again, no matter how long I try, forcing me to restart the phone... Only to work again after rebooting and hanging again after some use...

But now whenever I'm taking a call the touch screen stops working, so the only way for me to hang up is to take the battery out.Has anyone else had the same problem and is their anything I can do to fix this?

I can't get bluetooth to run on my X10. I don't usually use it but today I wanted to. Everything else I have set to off to save battery life. I only use 3G for Internet use which I cannot do without.
My phone says it is up to date. I am sure there are a quadrillion updates or fixes users of X10 want. I have to say though, this is actually my first and only problem with X10.

I bought this phone a few days back and i can't seem to get the wifi or the bluetooth to turn on, am i missing something? Also, i downloaded the Idroid ADW theme so i could have those little dudes as my icons and it doesn't seem to have worked. Is it supposed to automatically change or is there something i have to do?

I got my new AT&T Xperia X10 last week. For the first couple of days, all seemed well. On Saturday, I lost effective wi-fi. In settings is indicates that I am connected to my witeless access point, but when I try to access the internet, I am told that there is no connection. Also, at about the same time, I haven't been able to turn on bluetooth. In settings again, I select turn on bluetooth. Then it goes off for a while, and times-out. This cycle repeats itself continuously as lonk as I hit the OK button.

I am having problems with bluetooth.I can receive bluetooth files but for some reason i get an error when trying to send photos or music via bluetooth to other devices.I don't understand. Both devices are paired and are discoverable yet when I try to send anything i get a message 'Error! Could not send file'.Any ideas what the problem is?

Got my new Xperia x10 mini today and tried to bluetooth some pictures from my old phone to my new X10 MINI but it kept failin.It picked the other phone up in the bluetooth menu but when sending from my old phone to the x 10 it wouldnt let me.Also when takin a picture and then wanting to send the pic to my Girlfriends phone theres no option to bluetooth the pic.

I connected my X10 to my computer two days ago and was prompted to perform a software update which I chose to do believing it would get rid of some ongoing issues I've been having with the phone
The computer found the phone ok, then PC companion prompted me to disconnect the phone from the USB cable, making sure the battery was at least 50% full (it was), switch off the phone and wait at least 5 seconds (waited 30), then plug it back into the USB while pressing and holding the "Back" key.
All of this I did according to instructions, and the information on the screen said it was downloading the update, but broke down and stated that an unexpected error occured during installation. I was prompted to try again, which I did, same thing happened.
At this point the phone just shut down and point blank refuses to turn back on. I tried removing the battery and putting it back in, nothing, I also tried to charge it thinking maybe it was drained during the attempted update (power surge?) and again, nothing.
When I try to switch it back on while it is not connected to a charger or the computer the light flashes red three times. When I connect it to the computer it turns green for a few seconds then goes off again. Currently it's flashing red every few seconds, but will still not switch on.
My biggest problem is - if I take it in to be serviced, will they be able to retrieve my contacts from the phone memory? A backup was done but I no longer have access to this either as I had to reinstall my computer system and this data disappeared (i have a bunch of empty SE folders on my backup disk)
I'm in Croatia and support here are very, very fond of flashing the software as the easiest way out and swearing blind there is nothing they can do to keep the data - if nothing else I'd appreciate feedback from anyone else who has experienced this problem and got their phone back with contacts intact so I can argue more coherently when I take it in to the store tomorrow
I honestly don't care about any of the other data than my contacts, the rest is replaceable, but I have no way of contacting a lot of the people to get their numbers again.

I installed the bluetooth file transfer app from the market and it worked fine for a couple of goes, then my 6 yr old got hold of my phone and i am not sure if he altered some sort of setting and it is now not sending out files (it says on the recieving phone, - connection dropped- ) it is also now not connecting to other phones.

I bought my xperia x10 along 1 week It is awesome and blah blah, but theres something wrong with my battery it just doesnt up more than 50%... sometimes 51% or 53% but no more...And even if it is charging it comes down.... I went to the store where i Bought it and they replace with some new, but it is still the same, i dont know if my xperia is bad as well...I didn't wanted to root it because i'm not sure if I need to change it ..... I'm really dissappointed, anyone have or had this same trouble? I always charge the battery 8 hours...

Sorry about the newbie question but I haven't been able to figure this one out yet. When I'm playing MP3's using Mediascap (only player I've tried) the player stops whenever the phone goes to lock. I have my phone set for a 30 screen fade and then it locks soon after that. This means I have to poke the phone every 30 seconds to keep the song playing. I did a search and found something about adding the application to the task killer ignore list by doing a long press on the app and selecting ignore, however when I long press Mediascap I simply get a trash can popping up.

I now have "Low on Space" and "Not enough storage space for SM (then it's cutoff)". I have done 6 factory resets since getting it and after the last two I have added no apps to it. I have plenty of memory left but the message still pops up and GMAIL sent and Trash is empty, I have 29mb in use out of 7486mb in Gmail in use and i am about to walk into a Verizon store and beat someone senseless with this piece of crap phone. The INC is the only Android+Sense phone doing this right? Now my Bluetooth wont turn on or off. The widget and menu+settings doesn't work.

the HTC keyboard is going nuts itself.It's been like this since i've installed it like 2 weeks ago...When i'm typing email/message.it suddenly stops typing and vibrates on it's own.when i'm pressing erase it freeze and vibrates then deletes like a line of text.is this normal? what can i do to avoid it!

Ive had my xperia x10 for about 5mnths now and have since bought a different phone as its easier for work, I want to give my xperia x10 to my wife to use as its a great phone and dont want to just leave in drawer, When i insert her vodaphone sim into my orange locked xperia it wont switch on but as soon as i replace with my orange sim it works and powers up just fine,i know i will have to unlock with code from a website but if it dont turn on to start with then im buggered.Im a little confused.com to say the least, works with mine but wont turn on with hers/

I am in the process of upgrading my Xperia x10 to Android 2.1. I followed the instructions to update to the latest version of Backup and Restore using the
application on m.sonyericsson.com/backup, and it installed properly.
However, when I create a new restore point, and proceed to actually backing up my phone, it runs a few seconds backing up contacts and then
switches to a screen that tells me "Could not back up".
I've tried restarting the phone. Any suggestions? My backups from before the update this morning have vanished as well.

I just got the Experia X10 mini, my old phone was also a sony ericsson. My first problem has been the transfer of my contacts, I saved my contacts from my old phone onto my new sim but when I put the sim into the X10 it says there is nothing on it! So I desided to bluetooth them across and I cant find the X10. The bluetooth is defo on and discoverable. Not even my mate can find it. I phoned my contract supplier and they informed me that this a know problem with sony ericsson and I should get an update.

After upgrading to Android 2.1 pairing with my Ford Audio (mondeo 2007) works fine but during a call Bluetooth dropps off and reconnects again after 5 seconds.Ideas anyone.I already reinstalled/repaired Android 2.1.It worked fine when the Xperia was running 1.6 and any other phone doesn't have this issue.
