I have these text messages of my grandson sent by my daughter. I want to place them in my gallery, but cannot not find where they are located. can see them atached to the message but cannot seem to do anything with them. Where do I look?

Everytime I open up my sms app, i'm always getting this pop up message:"do you want to limit the number of messages you save to conversation"I have to repeatedly set it at "No limit" and it's becoming frustrating doing this over and over. I've went into message settings and checked off "no limit" has anyone encountered this? if so, what are possible solutions?

If this happens to you:
Go to Contacts
Click Menu
Click Add Friends
Click Facebook (not add account)
Check mark the friends you would like to add... IMPORTANT name spelling must be the same to go over without a hitch.
If the name is different and you've ALREADY added the facebook photo... Click on the name in the contact list. Click link... a suggestion should pop up. Select it.
I have tried multiple times to try to add pictures from my pc to phone by using the usb cord.When I add the picture to the folder that contains the photos on my photo gallery on my phone it shows on the computer but not on the phone.

and it wasn't that smart of a phone!
The Vibrant seems to only have just pictures...
As some of you know m in love with the camera on this thing. it has completely taken away the need for me to have a point and shoot so i figured i would make a thread where we can all post our favorite pics taken with your vibrant!

There are sooo many ways to tinker the settings!!! What makes for the best quality pictures in indoor, low-light settings?
I always use my cell phone camera as my primary camera. I love my Vibrant, but the camera quality is really making me consider going to a different device.
When getting a text/missed call, The phone lock screen pops up. And it will stay on until I press the power button. Is there a way for it to turn off after a few seconds??

View 2 Replies View RelatedSometimes when I receive messages it makes the notification sound and will show message in notification bar but the text of the message will not appear in the text thread. Used to happen every once in a while, now doing it multiple times a day. I use Handcent but I doubt that is the problem because the messages dont show up in the regular messaging either. Just want to see if i am alone with this problem.

If any of you came from a BB9700, the text message would have a "D" next to it if it was delivered or a red X if it wasn't delivered.
First android so be easy on me but my phone is not doing predictive text, is there some way to turn this on? Also how the heck do you snooze on the alarm, i could not figure it out for the life of me.

So far I like most of what I see, with two caveats: The lack of camera flash (I've not had one before, but with a 5 MP camera it seems a waste to not have one) and the lack of a physical keyboard.
I've yet to meet an on-screen keyboard I liked, but I've not tried a 4" screen before. Any first impressions, especially from people used to physical keyboards? Good, bad, ugly? Honestly that's the main thing I'm worried about.
Anyone have troubles sending video texts? On my Iphone I can record like 60 seconds and MMS it to people. I cant get it work at all on my Vibrant

View 1 Replies View RelatedOn a Samsung Fascinate (not sure if that is relevant) does anyone know how to make pictures that come in to a text message just show up in the message. I got my first incoming text on this phone with a picture attached. I saw the message and a "play" button. Push the button, goes to a screen 1/2 which just has the text itself (which I have already read at this point in the original bubble), then sits for a few seconds, then finally goes to screen 2/2, pulls up the picture, with no text. If I go back to the original message, the play button is still there and I have to go through it all over again. Any setting/apps anyone knows of to just have the picture come up automatically as part of the text.
I am coming from a Palm Pre and the photo would just be sitting there when I opened the message.
I'm using handcent and when sending pictures the recipient would not receive them. On my end it says pending and pictures never reach its destination. I have done this with WiFi turned off. Sending text is no problem but pictures is. Is there a bug in the handcent app? Just wondering because its getting frustrating. I have pictures from last night that never reached my wife and still says pending on the status.

I have my Facebook account synced and it shows the pictures under my call log, contacts, dialer, but does not show the contact pictures in my text messages? Anyone know how to fix this, it really annoys me seeing a bunch of empty picture slots when looking at my text message list.

I can send or attach messages to texts, but I don't get any images being sent to me. The Precedent runs on Straight Talk's network, and has "unlimited" talk, text and data. It's letting me send as far as I know, but I can't get any incoming pics in texts.
I really need, does anyone out there know of anyway I can save or "lock" the text messages. I want to keep and delete the rest?
