This is driving me nuts. When I get in my car and bluetooth connects to the phone, the phone automatically starts playing music through BT audio. I cant find any way to disable it short of turning off BT and I dont want to do that as I play Slacker through BT. Is there an option Ive missed to disable autoplaying of music?

Whenever I plug in my headphones into my phone my music will open up by itself and start playing. Its really annoying! Does anyone know how I can fix this?

The phone rings and the speaker works but it will not play Pandora, will not play MP3 files stored in the SD card, it will not play voice mail and it will not play stored ring tones? Any way to troubleshoot or should I jut get a new phone? Even with the insurance they want $100, thieves. First they don't release 2.2 and now this.

View 8 Replies View RelatedHad this happen twice now. If I look at the Sense music player, it's not playing. Pandora isn't open. Nothing else is happening, just... music playing. Volume does nothing. Only way I could find to turn it off was by turning the phone off.
View 13 Replies View RelatedWould love a good music app for my captivate which bypasses everything and immediately goes to the last song played and begins from there. Bypasses the unlock screen and any "last apps" I was using. A true "plug and play". Is there such an app? Right now I have to plug in the phones, unlock the phone, back out of my messenger or email program, select the music app, select the album or artist and then the songs. Its all a bit tiring if I do it somewhat frequently like in and out of the car.

View 18 Replies View RelatedI recently copied all the files on the sd card that came with my moment and put them on an 8gig card. Also created a music folder and stuffed it full of my favorite tunes. Now when I get a text in Handcent it plays 2pac (the first song in the folder) The whole song~! I also downloaded mixzing to listen to my music. After this happened I uninstalled mixzing but that didnt help. I can change the notification sound in handcent but that dont work. Any idea why handcent is firing up my music player or folder? Im back to using the stock player but it still happens.

So I just hooked up a aux input on my car stereo and after a couple of days I noticed that when I unplug the headphones it automatically stops playing the music. This is awesome! I just unplug it when i get to work and i don't have to go in and push pause or stop. I love it. Question is... is there an app that will automatically start playing music from the player? So i could just plug it in and have the music start and then stop again when i unplug it. I only use the headphone jack and listen to music in the car.
View 6 Replies View RelatedEverytime my phone connects with my car stereo (Clarion FB275btb) it starts to stream music. It even tries to stream if the music player is closed. After I stop the music and and put the stereo into another mode it works fine. If I later get a call it acts normally, but after I end the call it starts to stream music again! Any ideas on what the problem might be? My stereo worked fine with my behold I and nokia 5310.
View 10 Replies View Relatedi'm big into freestyling. i have over 1500 instrumentals on my phone.i can't figure out how to play them and record myself (either audio or video) at the same time.i figure i'm either gonna have to download a new music player that won't close or a video/audio recorder that won't close the "Music" player that came with my evo.and before anyone goes tryin to be smart, i realize that even if i was able to accomplish such an action the quality would probably be really low due to speaker and mic being so close.my intent is more of a "on the fly lyric composition" rather than a " put myself on youtube to show everyone how awesome i am"

I upgraded from CL14 --> 2.1 DD03 last night. I've noticed the following issue with my Bluetooth / audio routing in my car.
Scenario
* Moment successfully paired to car's Bluetooth after DD03
* I can make/receive calls via Bluetooth -- voice commands with my car's Bluetooth system and call is successfully placed by Moment
* My car has an RCA/AUX jack - I've connected that to my Moment's headphone jack to listen to podcasts while commuting to work.
Here's where the problem starts. If the Moment's headphone jack is connected to my car's AUX input with an RCA cable, I can place calls via Bluetooth (or I can hear the ringing of an incoming call) but when the call is connected (incoming/outgoing) the audio isn't being sent from the Moment to the car's speaker. I know the call is connected because I see the call duration timer on the Moment's dialer screen -- and more importantly, if I remove the cable from the headphone jack the audio is then routed to the car's speaker via Bluetooth. If I plug the cable back into the jack, the audio stops again.
I'm pretty sure that this wasn't a problem in CL14.
Does anyone have this problem where when I slightly pull my earphones out of the jack, the music from my sd card starts to play automatically? Is this a feature or do I need to bring it in to get fixed?

I want to play an audio file so that the person i am calling can hear it.Not through the speaker though because it will decrease the sound quality.
I tried to open the audio file while calling (with default sound player and google music) but although it openes the app it says "unable to play during call".I also tried in handsfree mode but didnt worked.
I use sg s3 mini with android 4.1.2.
After i updated to 2.1 my moment wont show all my music in my library. i went from like 500 songs to 80 wondering if any one else has had this issue and found a solution. and yes i removed my sd card when i updated the phone.

For example: A and B are talking on the phone. A presses a button that pulls audio from a resource and plays it over the phone call to B.
If so, what libraries should I look into? If not, is this something that could become accessible on rooted phones? (Of course, only other rooted phones would be able to use the application then...)
I'm having a strange problem with my Xperia Arc (4.0.4) that is proving very difficult to track down. When playing music or videos, after a random amount of time (maybe 20 or 30 seconds) the phone will crash and restart. This happens regardless of the app I use - Play Music, Poweramp, MX Player and YouTube. I have restored my phone using CWM to a much earlier backup, but eventually (within a few hours) the problem returns.
My only other recourse would seem to be a full wipe and return to stock firmware, which would be a major PITA and obviously wouldn't support if this is a hardware issue or some conflict with an update
I definitely did not want to make a thread about this because I'm certain it has to have been made before, but I searched and searched and couldn't find a thread, so here goes.Ever since the update (the one like two weeks ago, the one that caused crashes and they pulled but eventually put back up) GTalk starts itself automatically. I already changed the settings so that it wouldn't start, and everything was great. But since the update, it randomly starts automatically. All the settings are still set to off, but it will start up whenever it feels like it. It's gotten to the point where almost every time I pick up my phone, I have to check Running Services to turn of GTalk.This is affecting everyone, I'm guessing? Has there been any news about it? Fixes?Also, somewhat off-topic, but I've been away from the forums for about two weeks. I've been on vacation. Have I missed anything big? Have there been anymore updates, besides the one which caused the crashes (and they ended up putting it back up, right? I didn't download the still glitchy version, right?).
