I never buy music online. I have a large Itunes library which I use with my Ipod-built from ripping over 200 cd's. Is there a program that I can add to my Moment that will sync it with my Itunes?

View 8 Replies View RelatedSo I got doubleTwist hoping for a nice easy sync to get all of my music from iTunes onto my phone. The problem is that I haven't purchased songs on itunes in over a year and I guess now they have something called iTunesPlus, which costs $0.30/song to upgrade to (and remove DRM) and doubleTwist can't convert my iTunes purchases to a playable format due to DRM protection. Is there another music sync service for Android that you guys would recommend that can help me actually put the music that I already paid for once on my phone? I'm not interested in giving Jobs another $182 just to listen to music I already paid for.

I was one-way syncing my Outlook contacts/calendar (no e-mail sync) to my phone via HotSync Manager; I believe at one time I was doing a two-way sync but there seemed to be some issues so I went the one-way sync route.
Home Computer: I'm running Outlook 2007 (no Exchange) with MS Outlook Connector so I can manage multiple Hotmail e-mail accounts within Outlook. I was one-way syncing my phone contacts/calendar to my Outlook contacts/calendar via HotSync Manager.
Finally got around to putting 2.1 on my wifes phone and everything looks good. I downloaded the FB app from the market and when going to sync i can add account and choose Facebook but nothing happens. Anyone else having this problem?

Is there a way that the moment can do the same thing? Can I go to my contacts and click on their link to get right to their profile page?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am working with a client's new samsung moment. We set it up for google apps email and Exchange sync through Moxier. All was good and well for a few days, and then the Google/gmail app stopped syncing. In All Accounts, sync, it gave the error ' sync is currently experiencing problems, it will be back shortly' We pulled the battery but still does this. I tested other apps that would verify connection - browser, Moxier, etc., fine.
Today the moxier sync for Exchange email, calendar, contacts, tasks would not sync either; just stopped. Again, pulling the battery didn't unstick this.
I am used to the Microsoft phones where this plus a soft reset cured things for a few days. Please advise on a methodology to diagnose.
HTC said that iTunes syncing was coming in Froyo 2.2. I've just updated to it and can't see any sign of it, have plugged into itunes and it didn't recognise it or anything

View 10 Replies View RelatedThe past few days, my phone has had 3 or 4 times where it has said that it couldn't sync, and it would show one of those Captcha things and make my type in the letters.It was just a minor annoyance at first, but it keeps happening.Then, just now I was in my gmail account on my PC and I noticed that all of my contacts had gotten duplicated, but with a slash at the end of their last names.I don't know if this is related to the above issue or not.Anyone else seen anything like this?

For those of you coming from iPhones/iPods and have massive clean & organized music with iTunes, there is indeed a way to sync your music for free to your android phone. If you like it, support the project, the software I'm about to talk about is free.
iTunes Agent - Windows based software that reads iTunes, keeps organization and brings the files to your Android Phone.
iTuneMyWalkman - Mac users that are smart enough to know that there are other Mp3 players other than iPods, install this software instead of iTunes Agent.
1.) Download iTunes Agent,
2.) ---> Once Installed, the software will run in the system tray.
3.) Plug in your Android (EVO 4G in this guide.) and mount it as a hard drive. The software is going to write files to your SD Card.
4.) ---> Create a folder on your SD Card titled Music. I will explain why below.
you'll be able to set sync your G1 with an iTunes playlist (you're actually syncing the MicroSD card with iTunes, but it works the same). After you install the program, connect the G1. The "Recognize by folder type" field is important. It's basically how the program distinguishes your G1 from any other device you connect to your computer - I added a Notepad file called ANDROID to the root of the MicroSD card, seems like it can be anything that simple. In the "Music Folder" field, I pointed it to the Music folder at the root of the MicroSD card on the G1.
In the "Associate with playlist" I left it as "use device name." Now, when you go to iTunes, under "My Devices" there should be a playlist icon that says "G1". Add whatever files you want (make sure there isn't any DRM) and then right click on the iTunesAgent icon in your system tray and click "Synchronize devices."
I tried to use sailing sync-er but for some reason it didn't copy all of my songs it was weird it only copied over about 25% of my songs.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm not a big fan of iTunes but one thing I do like is that it makes small versions of all your photos purely to put on your iPhone/iPod. I have tried the new HTC Sync but it just uploads the full res version of my photos. Does anyone know of any sync software for putting photos onto the Desire/Android? I guess I could use iTunes itself but I don't really want to use it at all, especially just for photos.

Now i can only transfer 20 songs on itunes agent, and probably about half on ituner. I've tried ituner, itunes agent, and the twist one, none of them can get me my whole list, and i have been doing everything perfect.

At first I was just dragging and dropping the files, which works fine, except there are no playlists. I tried salling mediasync, it copied the songs, but not any playlists. I also get about half of the songs that won't play and message "unable to play files of this type" on the phone. So, is there a streamlined way to copy playlists from itunes to the incredible without downloading 2-3 different applications?
