Does anyone know a site where i can get a quality leather case for the SGS from? I've tried the usual, mobileden, ebay etc. but nothing is flicking my switch. My old iphone had a plastic case made by incase that had a slot on the back for two credit cards or similar, but incase don't make anything other than Apple stuff.

I was wondering if you could help me find the best case for my Galaxy S. Here's what I had in mind:
1) I'd like it to be of a rubbery material, because I don't want to risk breaking the phone in case I drop it on the floor.
2) I'd like the material to have some thickness to it. I don't mind the extra bulk as long as my phone's protected.
3) It'd be nice if the case's screen borders were somewhat higher than the screen (something like 3mm) just in case my phone falls face down. To me this is a very important thing
4) My phone has the retractable TV antenna so it'd be nice if the case was open on the corner. This is the most difficult thing to find as most variations of the Galaxy S don't have such a thing.
5) Must ship to Brazil. :-)
I did come across Zenus, which seemed good but from the pictures I've seen it looks like the screen's borders are virtually flat, so they give you no protection if your phone falls face down. Could this be just an impression from the picture, or is it really like that?
Any found any good cases online for their Samsung Galaxy S. So far I am finding people selling crappy plastic things with cheesy logos for $25+ here in Canada. What a rip off... would love to find a place that will ship and buy some cases at around $5 each. Looking for a hard case with a screen protector + a running armband.

Every time the Galaxy S is mentioned on engadget, androidandme, androidcentral, phandroid, or any other tech/android site people comment on Samsung's lack of quality. Then they make some comment backing HTC's quality. My question is, why?
Ok, I understand the beef around the Behold II and updates, but the Moment was updated to 2.1 and Samsung has said all future phones will have 2.2. As for hardware, I've seen nothing.
Looking at the past few HTC phones, I don't see the "quality" hardware people talk about. The EVO, Incredible, Nexus One, Hero, etc all had hardware problems which I'm sure you guys are all aware of.
How did Samsung get such a negative name in Android? Are people just pissed about the Behold II upgrade and were there really that many people that bought that phone? Do Samsung phones have hardware problems that I haven't seen?
my Incredible arrives on weds. I was looking for a case for it. i know the pickings are slim right now but has anyone found a leather sleeve/pocket like the blackberry's have? my mother has a BB and it came with a really nice leather pocket/sleeve, i would really like something like this for the incredible.

View 10 Replies View RelatedThe case below came with my Sprint HTC Mogul 3 years ago and it's the best case I've ever had, i used it with the Mogul, Diamond, Touch Pro, and now with my Touch Pro2. The TP2 is stretching it already so I know I'm going to need a new case. Just wondering if there's a case out there that has the following features:
-magnetic enclosure
-no swivel
-horizontal orientation
-small flap (easier to flip open)
-holes at the corner or middle (to easily push the phone out of the case)
Are there any good cases for the Moment? What are you guys using?

This transparent Plastic thing is evil, by which I mean I can't get it off. I'm afraid to take a screwdriver to it because I don't want to risk scratching the phone (that was why I got the case in the first place). Does anyone have experience with "incipio" plastic case? It bent the plastic piece up on my phone and I had to snap it back in place, Now it is loose where it was up. I am going to be buying another case from best buy and returning this one to radio shack. Kinda irritated and annoyed.
