View 3 Replies View RelatedAnyone know of a charger where the wire is at a right angle to the plug? In almost every case, there is too much tension on the cord when plugged in to keep it standing on the kickstand. Also, in the car, a right-angled charger would be useful for me. I found a right-angle auxiliary input for the stereo, and that helps some. Previously, I had one big plug coming straight out of the bottom, and another coming straight out of the top.

View 2 Replies View RelatedFirst off I apologize if this is answered elsewhere. I am a newbie and this is my first smart phone.I love the Epic everything works perfectly after I exchanged the first one for the back button issue. My question is I am listening to streaming radio in the car, through a cassette adapter that is plugged into the headphone jack on the epic and everything is cool. when I get a phone call - The radio goes off and I can accept the call, however here is the problem. When I answer the call I can hear the caller through the car speakers (makes sense) but they cannot hear me, I try pressing the speaker button and still they cannot hear me. I think the Samsung programmers have assumed that I have headphones plugged in with an attached mic and not a straight output jack. How do I answer calls in this situation?I am not willing to unplug the cassette adapter when cruising down the interstate at great speed. Is there a setting or a device (bluetooth or other?) that will enable what I need to accomplish.CLOSED - I just bought a $10 cable with a built in mic from Best Buy.

I want the thing off so it does not make any alert-noises and bother those within earshot. I suppose I could put it on Silent, but, come-on! This should be an allowed thing to do to a phone. Why in hell would it ever be set up to come back on when I deliberately just turned it off!

Can i use my ipod charger plug, with one of my many spare usb-mini usb cables i have for many gadgets (ie cameras/camcorders), to charge my desire? or is the ipod plug rated to push through a different numbers of amps/volts/currants/electrons/whatever to my desire, ultimately killing it? this will save me and probably a lot of other folk a few quids in buying spare chargers etc, as i am sure we've all got a spare mini-usb cable and an ipod lying around. i am talking about this part, or one of these for car charging.
View 5 Replies View RelatedIs there a hidden setting somewhere where I can tell the phone not to charge when I plug in the USB data cable? So, please charge when I plug in the power adapter, but please don't charge when I plug in the USB data cable. The reason I'm asking is because with all of experimenting I'm doing, trying to get my USB PC to phone connection working, my battery is being overcharged. Yes overcharged to the extent that the phone has even popped up a message once or twice telling me to disconnect, that the battery is fully charged.

View 7 Replies View RelatedHas anyone had this happen to them. My Droid was sitting on my desk next to me, it had about 80% battery life left, I get a few txt messages, and then its giving me the warning that my battery life is 15% and to plug it into the charger. Well I put it on the charger, and not even 30 seconds go by, and its fully charged. This has only happened once so far, but I am concerned is the battery slowly dying out, or is it just a glitch in the phone?

Listen allows me to logon and all that good stuff, my problem is different. I can search and subscribe to episodes however they never download, they are always in the queue. I can try the refresh option but it doesn't help. So far in a month I downloaded one podcast.

I've had my X10 mini for a few weeks now and it's been working fine, but this weekend i noticed that when i plugged it in to the mains using the charger it failed to start charging. I also tried just using the USB connection with my PC but it also doesn't recognize it. My phone has now died and i have no way of making it work again! Infuriating! Has anyone else had a problem with this? The way i see it, i either have a faulty charging cable or the micro USB port has failed (a problem i jhave read is common in the x10?)
View 1 Replies View RelatedHow can I listen to music and browse the web/play games/use other apps? Every time I start the music player and then hit home or back, the music stops. I've tried it using the speaker and the headphones. I have seen at some point the music player widget in the notifications bar so I know it can be done, but I just can't find the setting to make it work. Also, how do I access the equalizer?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I just got the Samsung Galaxy S4. Whenever I try to use S Voice, it never listens to my commands. If I press the microphone button S-Voice immediately says "I didn't hear that. Please say it again" with literally NO time for me to ever say a single thing. Also, saying "Hi Galaxy" never gets it to pick up on me either.

View 1 Replies View RelatedStore or stream? Combination of both? I'll probably transfer some of my music to the SD card but I'm mostly going to stream it. Pandora seems to always know what's on my mind or what I like. I also got an mSpot beta invite courtesy of Phandroid so I'll sync my iTunes to my mSpot account and stream it. mSpot is really great. If anyone has else is in the mSpot beta take their survey, they'll give you an extra 2 gigs of space making it a total of 4 gigs for free.

View 47 Replies View RelatedI am seeing a very annoying problem with Google Listen on Android (I think this behavior has started since the most recent update a couple of weeks back, but I am not sure)I am using the Nexus One (Android v 2.1)
1. Start Google Listen, using the wired headset.
2. Start listening to some podcast
3. Press the play/pause button from the headset
4. With the old version of Listen, the podcast would be paused.
When you pressed the button again, the podcast playback would resume. This was very nice. However, now - when I press play/pause from the headset the music player starts up. Sometimes, the podcast stops when music player starts up, sometimes it continues to play. Sometimes I get weird error messages on listen. This is really annoying.
Just downloaded the Last.fm app. Crashed a couple of times and struggled to connect initially, but now its working fine. one thing though... How the F do I keep her on charge and listen to music at the same time? Bloody lack of headphone port. Is there a splitter anywhere? can you split it? wtf htc.
