I just started going to the gym and I see alot of people with their mobile devices strapped to their arms listening to music. I have alot of mps files that I want to know if I can transfer to my LG phone. It's an LGMS769 and Android Version is 4.1.2. Theres already an icon in the apps called Music, but I have no music in it, is it possible to set this up and listen to music with all the mp3 files i have.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI mean free, legal music. Like on Youtube...it is too bad so many videos are blocked from being played on mobile devices. And forget Pandora radio. It is good, but there is no way you can search for specific songs.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOkay so I'm trying to listen to music from my phone (HTC inspire) to my Xbox 360. Both are running on same internet one is wired(Xbox) and my phone is wireless.. I'm getting two bars Max 1 mostly. And everytime I'm listening to music using both airsync and even imediashare about 3 songs it music just stops. I figured it was my screen turning off so I kept it on and in the middle of my song it stops... then whenever I go to change the song on the 360 my Xbox freezes due to the app -.+ I can't seem to get any of these apps to work and its really frustrating because I just wanna listen to music. (Do not troll and tell me to buy a new router, Xbox, go to ps3 or any of those lame things.)

However I found it would often not be active so today made a profile that will unlock my phone if my home wifi connection is found.
However this works one moment then not at all. It says no active profile despite wifi on and connected.
I have it so that if wifi near = home ssid then unlock phone, and wifi always on (never sleeps) but still nothing.

I am developing a piece of software where I need a service to be alerted of the fact that a call has just finished. I then want to have a look at a few properties of the call that just finished, and do something. Problem is I can't seem to find a Broadcast nor some kind of Listener to do this. Does anybody please have any ideas?
View 2 Replies View RelatedStore or stream? Combination of both? I'll probably transfer some of my music to the SD card but I'm mostly going to stream it. Pandora seems to always know what's on my mind or what I like. I also got an mSpot beta invite courtesy of Phandroid so I'll sync my iTunes to my mSpot account and stream it. mSpot is really great. If anyone has else is in the mSpot beta take their survey, they'll give you an extra 2 gigs of space making it a total of 4 gigs for free.

I am a newbie and this is my first smart phone.I love the Epic everything works perfectly after I exchanged the first one for the back button issue. My question is I am listening to streaming radio in the car, through a cassette adapter that is plugged into the headphone jack on the epic and everything is cool. when I get a phone call - The radio goes off and I can accept the call, however here is the problem. When I answer the call I can hear the caller through the car speakers (makes sense) but they cannot hear me, I try pressing the speaker button and still they cannot hear me. I think the Samsung programmers have assumed that I have headphones plugged in with an attached mic and not a straight output jack. How do I answer calls in this situation?I am not willing to unplug the cassette adapter when cruising down the interstate at great speed. Is there a setting or a device (bluetooth or other?) that will enable what I need to accomplish.CLOSED - I just bought a $10 cable with a built in mic from Best Buy.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am seeing a very annoying problem with Google Listen on Android (I think this behavior has started since the most recent update a couple of weeks back, but I am not sure)I am using the Nexus One (Android v 2.1)
1. Start Google Listen, using the wired headset.
2. Start listening to some podcast
3. Press the play/pause button from the headset
4. With the old version of Listen, the podcast would be paused.
When you pressed the button again, the podcast playback would resume. This was very nice. However, now - when I press play/pause from the headset the music player starts up. Sometimes, the podcast stops when music player starts up, sometimes it continues to play. Sometimes I get weird error messages on listen. This is really annoying.
Just downloaded the Last.fm app. Crashed a couple of times and struggled to connect initially, but now its working fine. one thing though... How the F do I keep her on charge and listen to music at the same time? Bloody lack of headphone port. Is there a splitter anywhere? can you split it? wtf htc.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIf I'm on the home screen of my Desire and I play the Play button on my (bundled HTC) headphones, both Music and Listen start playing. If I was already listening to music and I hit the button to pause it, the music pauses but once again Listen starts playing. Is there any way I can easily avoid this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been using my Desire with normal headphones for a couple of weeks and have just tried the supplied ones with the remote control. I use Google Listen quite a bit and was downloading a podcast with it earlier. The problem comes when I try and listen to something on the media player - the << and >> seem to control both applications at the same time, so I have podcasts and music playing together! It also creates big delays in the reaction time to the controls creating clips from both apps being played randomly. Am I missing something or is the only way to do to 'force close' Google Listen in applications first?

Has anyone been able to play music from your phone on the music player using Google Voice Actions?
I find it alwasy wants to find streaming music and does not search my music that is onboard.
I recently switched from the HTC Wing to the Motorola Cliq (love the phone!) but I can't figure out how to listen to music or watch videos streamed from my computer (photos work ok).I was using ORB on my Wing and it worked great.I'm trying to use it on the Cliq but with little to no success (I've also tried using androrb with no luck).
View 1 Replies View RelatedHow can I listen to music and browse the web/play games/use other apps? Every time I start the music player and then hit home or back, the music stops. I've tried it using the speaker and the headphones. I have seen at some point the music player widget in the notifications bar so I know it can be done, but I just can't find the setting to make it work. Also, how do I access the equalizer?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S4 Google Edition with Stock 4.3, and my husband has a Galaxy Note 3 from T-Mobile, with 4.3 as well. He usually listens to Pandora, however, the music from Pandora doesn't stop playing when he receives a phone call. So he hears the music AND the phone call at same time. He uses the Samsung headphones that came with the phone. I use the Google Music app to listen to my music, and the same thing happens to me. I get a phone call, and the music keeps playing. Our friend, has a Galaxy S3 from T-Mobile with Android 4.1 (I believe, could be 4.2) and he says his music stops when he gets a phone call.
Is this a 4.3 bug? Is there anyway to make it stop playing music automatically when answering a call? If it's a bug, is it fixed in 4.4?
I have had a lot of smart phones but never used bluetooth headsets and have a few questions. Can you get a bluetooth earpiece for answering phone calls that lets you answer from the headset once paired?
Do all the earpieces support streaming or playing music/sprint tv audio/Google listen? Are they all mono or do some single earpieces have stereo? Is there an industry standard for noise reduction that I should look for in the feature list? Any other tips if I just want to buy one and be satisfied its the right one?
I want to be able to listen to the walkie talkies that are at work and I was wondering if there was an app that might be able to let me do so?

I've been reading about pulseaudio and I'm able to stream specific things, like mp3 files. But I wanted to let Android get everything that is output to pulseaudio. Like YouTube videos, desktop sound effects, music.
