Samsung Fascinate :: Watching Movies On Phone
Oct 2, 2010I was wondering if you guys have been able to watch movies on the fascinate? The one thing Samsung is doing, is the media hub which allows you to download movies to your galaxy s. Sadly android does not quite have that yet, you have to download, convert, transfer, so i was wondering if you guys had other options, or if you were excited for the media hub coming with froyo.

Is there even a video player on the SF? What file formats will it recognize? This is a very important feature to me and I'm surprised it isn't very intuitive.

Sep 24, 2010I cannot seem to find an answer to this although I seem to recall that when I first got the phone that I did it once for one word. When in Android Keyboard input, if you type in a word that is not in the dictionary, is there a way to save it so that it comes up again in the future and you don't have to type the whole word out each time you use it? It appears that this is the case in swype (which I do not care for) but after a lot of trial and error, I cannot seem to locate a place where you can do this.

Feb 19, 2010Just bought this sprint samsung moment a few weeks ago, and I was wondering why I can't upload mobile pics from my phone to facebook. I have the facebook app on my phone and it does not seem to let me upload mobile pic's. In order for me to upload pic's I have to go to the mobile version of facebook and upload the pic via some email wich then post the pic for u, but the problem is it seems to post my pic's side ways.
I know lots of folks with other phones some of them crappy that just click on the photo and select upload to facebook....why can't I do that on this phone? Why does this phone not give me the option to upload from the pic? Why does the facebook app FOR android not let me upload photo's?

Samsung Behold 2 : Upload Photos From Phone To Macbook / Take Larger Sized Pictures?
May 23, 2010I'm trying to upload photos from the phone to my macbook. After uploading several pics to "my T-mobile album" and after emailing them to myself, I notice the pictures are pretty small, 480x360.. no where near what I expected from 5 megapixels (and yes, I have the option set at 5mp). What can I do to take larger sized pictures?
Possibly unrelated, I use the stock USB cable to plug in the phone. The phone will charge, but my Macbook does not recognize anything as being plugged in, so I cannot manually browse around to upload my photos. What gives?

Nov 27, 2010This also happened on my Droid, so I'm not sure what the deal is. When I'm in a call sometimes my phone will black in and out, if I tilt the phone it will kick on for a half second and then kick off. The phone is still working and I'm still in the call, but I'm unable to do anything on the phone. Alternatively, if the phone does stay on and I try to touch a keypad the screen goes black again. Also, sometimes I won't be able to touch the number pad. The only way to get the keypad to work is if I drag the top down, click the little phone icon, and then the keypad again and it will work. It's driving me CRAZY.
Lastly, I have my phone with the pattern unlock because I like to know only I can open it. However, I don't want the timeout delay to long and drain my battery, but if I need to touch anything my phone needs to be unlocked during calls. Is there an app that keeps your phone on JUST during phone calls?

Oct 12, 2010Today, I made a call and the party on the other end was not answering. So, I tapped the red "end call" and nothing happened. There was not feedback from the phone at all. Other end kept ringing. No response anywhere on the phone. Soft keys would not respond--Nothing. Had to press power key and power off, then reboot.

Oct 29, 2010I have had two samsung fascinate for about 2 months now. Yesterday my wife complained that after calling someone she wanted to hangup without leaving a VM and the phone was just frozen. This is not the black screen. This is she could see all the buttons etc and the hangup button was just not doing anything.She said she powered off and on to fix it.Well, this morning the same issue happened to my phone as well !! I wanted to hangup after a call and the phone was just frozen. I could not hangup. I kept hitting the red hangup button and nothing happened. Not to mention the other person got a long and blank VM.
