View 10 RepliesWell my phone has an option to update all my applications but my wifes does not. Wonder why there is a difference and how to set hers to update all?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI don't remember ever seeing any Market app update notices on the Fascinate, though I have found several updates now when I go to Market, Downloads. Have you been getting notices?
View 3 Replies View RelatedFor those of you who have now gotten your phones and upgraded from another android phone - did you sign in to the market/configure the phone with same Gmail account? And what I really want to know - did your previously installed apps (both free and paid) automatically download?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if app updates only show up once you've been in the "Market" or will the notification come up if you haven't opened the market for quite some time?I'm thinking the only time I've received a notification is when I'm in the Market. Is that the case?Other times, I do not get notification, then I'm in Market and I choose "downloads" from the menu and it tells me some of my apps have updates available on my list of downloads. Still no notification.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got a Captivate and upgraded to the leaked 2.2 update.Since I updated, gameloft apps(specifically Asphalt 5 HD) will no longer show up in the market.I have tried going to gameloft directly and even directly to the download page but it states that there is no such app.Again, I could find all gameloft apps before my update.I've also had other apps show up and when I click, the download page can't be found.is this because the apps are not compatible with 2.2?
View 1 Replies View RelatedOne side effect I've noticed from the recent update: it seems like some apps are just gone from the Android Market. The one I know for sure is the MLB.com At Bat 2010 app. AppBrain still lists it (in fact, it shows that it got a price drop about 10 hours ago), but scanning the QR code, searching for it in the Android Market, even trying to install it from AppBrain all lead to the same thing: The item could not be found. I don't know if this is happening with other apps or not. I do know for sure that the MLB.com At Bat 2010 app was there before the update as I was trying to decide whether I was justified in spending the money to listen to the playoff games at work. But now it's just gone without a trace.Anyone else notice this or other apps missing?

View 21 Replies View RelatedI am using google apps email for several of my websites. the settings are the same as gmail. I am using IMAP.
I setup my @gmail account and one of my @myprivatedomain.com emails in the gmail app and regular email app on my phone. I like using the gmail app as my email app since it auto syncs and you dont have to open and wait for sync like you do w/ the regular email app.Now I can't setup my @myprivatedomain.com emails in the gmail app. I don't understand on the Adroid phones why email setup is so hard. I had one hell of a time on the X and Inc setting up email. Very buggy and intermittent does anyone know what "your phone may not be provisioned for data services" means?
I have alot (and I mean ALOT) of apps on my Xperia, so I get around 5 app updates a day, which is now starting to agitate me because most of them are the same apps everyday needing updates.
Today I heard about an update for the market that includes an auto update feature for installed apps. But I, like many others, do not see this option on the market.
Does anyone have any idea how to get it? or if I can't get it, when can I?
Does it actually work? I still have to manually update the apps I put on auto update.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen the 2.2 update will be available for the Samsung Fascinate on Verizon?
View 6 Replies View RelatedReset my phone about an hour ago and haven't been able to d/l anything since. About to call Verizon. Ok, just noticed the similar threads above mine.
View 6 Replies View RelatedDoes anybody have the new updated market application?
View 18 Replies View RelatedI'm rooted and just flashed Super Clean rom from Rom Manager. When I go to update current apps or download new ones, it says "Starting download..." and never stops! After looking this problem up and reading other people's posts who have had similar problems, I've tried clearing all cache and data related to any Google-based app. I've done multiple nandroid backups over the past few weeks and have tried restoring back to them. I've tried factory data reset both from Settings-->Privacy and also from recovery mode in CWM. I'm out of ideas.
View 18 Replies View RelatedThere have been numerous treads over the last week wrt Android Market issues.
I have tried all the 'fixes' mentioned, and I still am not able to download apps from Android Market ('download was unsuccessful').
Anyone else still having this problem? It is getting highly annoying.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just odined to 1.6 and am noticing no paid apps in the market (except for in my downloads obviously) im wondering if anyone else has this problem or there is a fix. im in the US by the way
View 8 Replies View RelatedI just got a BOGO with my wife for the Facinate. I switch from a fully rooted/ROMed Incredible. On both our phones, the Market loads and searches VERY slow on WiFi and 3G. My Incrediable loads/searches almost instantly while the Fasinate takes...3, 4, 5,..., 10secs at times. Downloads are slow too.
View 8 Replies View RelatedSo one of the cool things about Froyo is being able to check off Enable Automatic Update for market apps. So i have that checked off for like 80+% of my 80+ apps (that took a while to do let me tell you). Now i have had three apps have updates available since i checked off the box, yet they never actually automatically updated. I waited, hours, still never updated. Is there a setting i need to modify? Do i need to tell it what time of day to do it? Anyone else noticing this? I only really want it in apps that i don't care about reading the new features. But it is annoying that i have it enabled and it does nothing.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to update apps that weren't directly downloaded from the Market?A friend gave me the Weather channel app without the ads. He gave me the .apk installer file. Now that I have the Weather channel app that I didnt get from the store, therefore not in "My Downloads" section of the market, how do I update it?There must be a simple fix, but i could seem to track it down on the forums.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've noticed this since I've updated to Froyo (many weeks ago) but I don't know if it's related to Froyo or just some random coincidence. Whenever I update an app that's stored on my SD card I get the "Failed to install application" error. It's easy to fix just move the app to the phone, but it's kind of a pain in the backside. Is there an easier fix? Or should I just keep all apps on the phone and use the SD for photos and music or something?I have a non-rooted HTC Incredible.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if it was possible to update an app that was not installed from the market through the market.I've downloaded free apps from the market, unzipped them and swapped out some image files, signed and reinstalled, but these apps no longer show up in the play store--when I try, it says that the app was not signed correctly.
View 3 Replies View RelatedDoes anybody know if you root will you still get the 2.2 update when it's released? I did root originally but decided to unroot because without 2.2 I can't do what I want anyway and I don't want to miss 2.2. Now if there were some cool custom ROM's it might be different......
View 7 Replies View RelatedI see that handcent sms put out an update (version 3.4.5) last week. Should I update to it? Have there been reports of bugs with this update? In general, what is the best way to find out if any app update is good or bad?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to download the update for my Fascinate, but it keeps failing. I check for updates, and it says new update available. Then I click OK to download. It appears to start, then always stops at 10% and network error pops up. When I go to update status, it says "network error" and "code 409".
View 4 Replies View RelatedIt gets to the point of "verifying update package" and then says a bunch of other stuff (can't read it as this step and the next happen too quickly), and then in red says "Error in data/fota/(then I don't know what it says here because it reboots)." It powers back up and then tries to run the update process on its own again. I can cancel out of that and it works fine, but I'm just wondering why it won't update. No other root users have had trouble, right?
View 12 Replies View RelatedAnyone have it or know who I can get it from?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I downloaded the OTA update today without a hitch. I went to the Market today to finally download Pac-Man and maybe de Blob, but they're both missing. No big. I tried to do a search for them and...they aren't there. Has anyone else noticed anything like this?
