I have a Samsung Fascinate and would like to transfer pictures and videos from my phone to my laptop. I try to use the Allshare app but my phone won't recognize my laptop for anything other than music. This is really weird and confusing.

Is there a way to display the names of videos or pictures when viewing them in the gallery? Alot of my videos have the same beginning screen shot so to find the one I want I have to literally watch them to figure it out. There has to be a way to show the names without having to go through My Files > media > videos. I want to know what the names are when I go to view them
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to put some of my videos and pics from my pc that were either taken with my old Nokia N95 or bluetoothed to me. I have transferred them across to my Sony Ericsson X10 phone via the data lead and my pc shows that they are there but they are not recognised by the phone and so will not show them. I spoke to Sony Ericsson UK and was told that i have to download a programme that enables the phone to play/see them. When i asked what programme they just said look for something on the internet. Does anybody know of any suitable programme?

I know you can make them clearer by using syncmypix but they are ridiculously small for this large of screen. Still love my SF though! Just one of the little things thats kind of annoying. Any help would be great if there is an app or a hack for this.
View 2 Replies View RelatedOn my old phone (HTC Imagio) you would select "Share" and then it would pop back to the album where you could touch the thumbs for the pics you wanted to upload. When you touched it, the corner of the pic would fold over showing that it was selected, and you could then keep touching other thumbs to select as many as you would like and finish by hitting the soft key titled "Upload".On the Fascinate it appears that you have to select the pic in the album, hit share, hit Photobucket and then you have to scroll to the next and do it again and again until you have uploaded all your photos one at a time. Am I missing something, or is this just how the Fascinate and Photobucket app work together?

The BB gave me the option of either streaming or downloading videos, I loved that. Could someone please tell me how to download videos to the SF? Please tell me wht apps I may need or what settings to change. I am lost at this point.

I wasn't sure what to tell him. I looked, and I noticed his pictures have a "share" option that you can send them to Picasso. Is that good? The videos however did not have this option. Should he simply connect to his PC with a USB cord and copy the files directly?

I successfully transferred one video via dropbox, but it seems to be having trouble with the current one I keep trying to move, maybe due to it's larger size, and it seems like it should be obvious to just plug in the USB and transfer it. The trouble I am having is that once my pc finds my SF and I "mount" it, and I have tried this via mass storage and via the media sync options, my pc will only let me view and transfer the files from the sd card, but apparently the videos I record with my phone are not stored on the sd card.
I need to know how to a) make the videos/pictures store on my sd card rather than the internal memory and b) transfer the videos/pics from my phone to my pc via USB. Usually I can figure this stuff out, but after searching all day, and reading tips, and going through the manual, and installing samsung's usb drivers, I have had it and need a nudge in the right direction.
I just received my Nexus 5 in the mail and I'm trying to figure out how transfer all my pictures from my s4 to my n5 so that they are still able to be set as wallpaper and what not cause to my knowledge once they care stored to Google drive they cannot be set as wallpapers anymore ..is that correct ? I want to transfer them to the card so I can put them into my computer. Does anyone know how to do this? I have been unable to sync using the cord because of a driver issue. View 4 Replies View RelatedI was looking at the N1 on youtube and notice it's picture gallery which looks so nice. I went on the market to see if they have something similar....and yes they do. It's called 3d gallery. It's so much better than the gallery that came with the phone. If you've heard of cool iris that's what it basically is now for your phone. It works fine on the DINC. However some of the pictures I sent to the computer from the phone are not on the phone when I go back to it later. Where are they? On the SD card i assume, but how do I view the card on the phone, not through the computer?
And the pictures, and videos actually, are not stored in the Album either. One other question, someone in the forum said they use ATK sparingly. Any reason for using it sparingly, I think it is pretty good, but is it really?
I have I think a 16GB Micro SD card. But I can't seem to be able to use it. I can't save nothing on it, and when I installed this app Astro, a file manager, I still couldn't do nothing with it. My apps are saved to my phone, and the pictures I take with my phone and the videos are also saved into my phone. Only songs are saved into my SD card. Am I doing something wrong? or is the Micro SD card only made for songs, and not the pictures and the videos and the apps? I have an app to back up my information called m:IQ, and there it says I used up 46% phone memory, and only 2% of the Storage card. So can anybody tell me what's wrong exactly?
View 5 Replies View RelatedSending pics and videos to a site for sharing is pretty easy. Now this is considering you have Photobucket and You Tube. Couldn't tell you about others. Basically after setting up your accounts with them, the camera software will send the pics to them thru the "share" option. Videos require a Wi-Fi connection. The new You Tube now does HD video, so they show up in high-quality 720p. Pretty much easy as can be. Sent a 15mb video in about a minute or so. Thought that was darn good.

I have some pictures and vids that I want to keep private. I am often showing my pics and vids to people and the ones I don't want to be seen are in the same folders. I have tried to move certain pics and vids to a different place using the phone itself, but I can't figure that out.
I was hoping that when I plugged up the phone to my PC it might recognize it like it does a camera or something but it doesn't. I even installed the motorola software but that didn't do anything. If I take the card out of the phone and put it directly in my PC, I can see it that way and modify things, but when I put it back in the phone nothing is as I had changed it on the PC.
i may totally be overlooking this but are the pics/vids sent via MMS stored. If they are on the SD card is there away to make an album? If they are not stored locally, is there an app that does this? I have SMS Backup, but i want the MMS files to be local on my SD card and in an album as all other pics/vids.
