After figuring out how to sync my Facebook contacts with my phone contacts, I found that I now have the birthdays of all my Facebook friends on my Jorte calendar. Does anybody have any idea on how to remove this?

I do not have sync birthdays checked under my accounts. The Facebook birthday events have been added to "my calendar" events. I have even done a hard reset.
Seems like a syncing issue. I want to be able to use LPP agenda widget, but I can not customize which calendars to view. This has not happened on my Droid X or Incredible.
So i just got the fascinate about 6 hours ago. I tried syncing with facebook, adding my account, i can log in yet it does not sync saying its down and will be back up shortly? Say what, anyone else having this problem?

When I update a calendar item online using Google Calendar, it syncs to the Jorte calendar on my phone
When I update a calendar item on the phone using Jorte, it does NOT sync to my Google calendar online (I've even tried the export function)
My tasks won't sync at all between the two in either direction.
It has synced all my friends birthdays into my calendar. I want to disable this, but to still have my contacts synced. Is there a way to do this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy 'accounts & sync' settings have always had 'facebook' turned off for syncing, and I have never turned it on. Yet this morning i was playing around with the bit in 'people' to try and see if the facebook bit in there worked and i would be able to link a contact in there with their facebook account. It asked me to log into facebook (after which incidentally it could not then find the contact in facebook lol). After that i went to the calendar and it now shows ALL 2500 facebook contacts birthdays!!
Please tell me there is a way to undo this. at no point did i ever select auto facebook syncing, or choose to import facebook calendar. Obviously now the calendar is pretty unusable as there are multiple bithdays on every day.
I want to sync the Birthdays already saved to my contacts to my Calendar.
I don't use Gmail other than for the Marketplace and I don't have Facebook sync'd.
Ideally I'd have reminders on the day of the Birthday.
Well, google is to efficient. My contacts on the Fascinate has synced with Google and includes everyone I have ever contacted through Gmail. My Gmail and Google Voice both include a more limited list of contacts and associated groups. How do I sync this list with my Fascinate?

Under setting and accounts and sync the exhange account is set and "sync is on"

I have two Gmail accounts and one school email app. All of the settings are set to check every 5 minutes. All three email accounts have been syncing fine for the first two days that I have had the phone, but all of a sudden the two Gmail accounts have stopped autosyncing. However, none of the settings have changed. My school email receives all my emails every 5 minutes, but my two Gmail accounts will only get the email once I enter the accounts and do a manual sync. Both of my Gmail accounts are set to IMAP and they are all on the right settings.

QUESTION: Doesnt the phone know when to stop charging or does it just keep on charging? The phone doesnt feel hot but i dont want to fry the battery.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm loving my fascinate so far except for one really annoying feature (other than bing, of course). Whenever my screen goes off, the phone locks itself, and I'm forced to use the puzzle piece or the unlocked grid. This happens every time the screen auto shuts off, or when I shut it off manually with the power button. Is there a way for a non-root user to delay the autolocking to something like 30 minutes or so? As far as i can tell, there is no setting for it, only the screen timeout setting. Its annoying to keep having to unlock the phone, especially if I am driving. Anyone have any ideas?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I have all my contacts synced with their Facebook profile. I've ticked to use their profile pic and birthday in their contact info. When I go to any contacts details it has the little blue Facebook F next to their photo and also next to their birthday, so I know that it's all synced.
The one problem I do have is when I go in to my calendar none of the birthdays are listed.
I've gone in to the Calendar menu and checked that I have Contact Birthday and Events calendar ticked and listed.
My Google calendar is showing fine and syncing between the phone and the web.
Is this just some bug where Facebook birthdays don't show up in the Calendar? I know there are other ways around this but it'd be nice if the contact info was used better. I was kind of excited about being able to view my contacts events with the calendar, I could of easily seen what I could and could not attend.
Also an extra note, the Contact Birthday and Event Calendar does have some birthdays in it. It has mine and it also has a friend whose Facebook profile I have not linked.
I kind of like how 2.2 includes Facebook events in my calendar, but what I don't like is that everyone's birthday is showing up twice.

View 7 Replies View RelatedSince the 2.2 update I have had double Facebook birthdays showing in my calendar. 1 from the old method of posting the URL in google calendars and the other from Facebook under the calendar option. After trying over and over to erase the original way from my phone with no luck, I decided to just delete my Gmail calendar all together and then reload it onto my phone. Once I did that, I restored my Gmail calendar and made sure the Facebook calendar option is checked. Now, I have NO Facebook birthdays at all. No matter how many times I check, uncheck and refresh the calendar, the birthdays refuse to come back.

When I look on their FB profile, the date is correct. When I look in their contact info in my phone, its a day off. I have roughly 1000 Facebook "friends" but only 300 are really friends and family and the rest are mainly gaming friends for games like Mafia Wars, etc. and I don't want to sync those. I want the Facebook contacts who I personally know to show up when I use the contacts icon on the home screen. I would like to sync them but I'm afraid it will import the list and I would have to manually delete them.
