Samsung EPIC 4G : Way To Change Phone's Lockscreen?
Sep 20, 2010Does anyone know of any apps that can change the lockscreen on the Epic besides LockBot ( I read some sketchy reviews)? I am not rooted, btw.

Samsung EPIC 4G :: Notifications And Music Control On Lockscreen?
Aug 31, 2010I dont know that anyone will be able to answer this as of now, but I'm sure someone will once tomorrow comes around.
I was wondering if the Epic lockscreen shows any indications of unread items (particular SMS text messages)? Also, if music is being played, does it show music controls on the lockscreen so that you dont have to unlock the screen and go to the music app before being able to control music?

Oct 12, 2010Is there a way to change the song/look at whats playing on the lockscreen while you are playing music with the stock player? I always have to unlock, drag down the notifier bar, click on the player. On my hero, there was a music thing on the lockscreen where I could pause, or go to the next/previous song?

Sep 9, 2010If you don't like the lockscreen, there is one other lockscreen that comes standard with the phone. You can change it in the Display settings. It's called Glass Screen. Basically, you just swipe anywhere on the display from left or right and it'll unlock.

And I don't mean lockbot, because I'm using that now and it's kind of buggy for me. Anybody know how to make this happen?

Oct 4, 2010I'm trying to figure out how to change the icons at the bottom of the screen but I'm failing miserably at it...or I'm beginning to think that it's just not possible?
Specifically I'm wanting to change the Messaging icon out to be the one for Handcent (or any other messaging icon other than stock). Yes, I realize I can set it to point to use Handcent by default, but when you initially open it, it doesn't start to use Handcent initially, only once you go into conversations does it start to use the Handcent application.
Is there a way to do this like there is on the other Galaxy devices or is this completely locked down on the Epic and I need to download another UI in order to change this?
Samsung Epic 4G : How To Change Bottom Four Home Buttons
Nov 20, 2010i saw a video back when i was debating between evo and epic, and it showed me how to change those bottom 4 buttons (PHONE CONTACTS MESSAGING APPLICATIONS). i figure phone and contacts kinda go hand in hand so its a waste, and i use HANDCENT. now that i have the phone i cant figure out how to do it to save my life. anyone have any ideas?
The same feature also allowed you to swap around the applications view, and delete unused home pages. i dont need 7 pages id be fine with 4 or 5 (multicon FTW)

General :: Auto Change Lockscreen Wallpaper?
Nov 1, 2013I have been searching around for a way to automatically change the lockscreen wallpaper. I have Samsung Galaxy S4. It has a lockscreen wallpaper called "travel wallpaper" which does this but has major limitations (can't select the images myself, uses mobile data). I ahve tried other wallpaper changer apps / live wallpapers, but they only change the homescreen wallpaper not the lockscreen.
I do have WidgetLocker and added some widget that did the trick... but I am trying to go back to the stock lockscreen since WidgetLocker hasn't been reliable for me (it only works sometimes, others the stock lockscreen shows up. Also WidgetLocker doesn't have media controls.

i tried using fresh's "kitchen" but it says on the website that kitchen will not support 2.1 roms what do i do?
