I have a Droid X (Os=2.2) Even though the lock screen is different from the "live wallpaper" I chose for the rest of the screens, I can't find any setting to choose a different setting for the lock screen.

View 9 Replies View RelatedIf you don't like the lockscreen, there is one other lockscreen that comes standard with the phone. You can change it in the Display settings. It's called Glass Screen. Basically, you just swipe anywhere on the display from left or right and it'll unlock.

I see the wallpaper on my memory card named htc_wallpaper_01. I changed my stock gallery to Note 2's stock gallery and than after completing the process I had a reboot and than suddenly I saw that the gallery was missing from my phone yhan I did recover my old secgallery2_galaxy with the odex file after installation when I opened gallery the gallery didn't open and said UNFORTUNATELY THE GALLERY HAS STOPPED.I tried QUICKPIC too but it didn't change the lockscreen wallpaper. I tried to change wallpaper through settings but it opened the wallpapers the phone had.

I have been searching around for a way to automatically change the lockscreen wallpaper. I have Samsung Galaxy S4. It has a lockscreen wallpaper called "travel wallpaper" which does this but has major limitations (can't select the images myself, uses mobile data). I ahve tried other wallpaper changer apps / live wallpapers, but they only change the homescreen wallpaper not the lockscreen.
I do have WidgetLocker and added some widget that did the trick... but I am trying to go back to the stock lockscreen since WidgetLocker hasn't been reliable for me (it only works sometimes, others the stock lockscreen shows up. Also WidgetLocker doesn't have media controls.

so recently I bought my new Android phone, Gigabyte Gsmart Aku A1, which is really great, MTK 6598 runs smooth as butter, I've already rooted it, but I can't find on settings how do I change the Lockscreen Shortcuts (Running 4.2.1 JB) and I also can't find anything on Settings on how to change the Notification toggle shade, because I want stuff to be remove and added. I can't find anything on settings. Maybe you can give me SystemUI which as that kind of settings?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am not a big fan of the stock Droid X lockscreen, however I do like the regular Vanilla Lockscreen. Over on XDA I found some dark vanilla lockscreen sliders and decided to mod them for my Droid X.
As of right now I haven't added a vibrate icon with the right slider. Sliding from right to left will either turn sound on, or turn on vibrate mode. Also they are only supported in portrait mode.
Also I am not responsible for any and all damage this may do to your phone/device, neither is wjddesigns.com.
I can't find the option to disable the lockscreen slider?
Under Location & Security settings, "set up screen lock", I select the option for "none" but it doesn't disable the slider.
I would like the phone to go to the homescreen immediately after pressing the power button.
Anything I am missing?

View 2 Replies View RelatedAlright.. I had a Motoq9M for a couple of years.. and such a bad experience.. I was skeptical about EVER buying another motorola again.. Alas.. I refuse to give up my verizon coverage.. and bought a Droid.. aand Im ALMOST hopeless with some of this stuff. The first week everything worked great, then as I started adding apps, things have gotten hinky.
Problem 1:
I set up a "lock pattern" and my screen's timeout time is 30sec. Whenever I'd make a call even after I'd unlock it.. or I've answered the phone and unlocked it.. literally 2-3 secs later.. the phone would blackout and lock again.. WTF? soo.. i disabled the lock option.. problem solved.. but now I don't want to re-lock it if it's going to bug up again.
Problem 2:
I seem to have an unremovable facebook app... can't delete it from settings, and I can't delete it with an un-install app it doesn't even show up to look at in app management in settings.. uhh Help.. because
I USED to be able to go to a friends photos, and choose the "set as" option as a contact photo or a wallpaper.. it started to only do it once in a while .. and now I can't do it at all.. I REALLY want that ability back.
Problem 3:
half the time I go into my task killer, and apps I've never even touched to activate are randomly running in the background.. and when i go to look at my SD card space availability and its says unavailable..
