Oct 18, 2010I've tried everything and Kies won't connect, I have it on TW Launcher, and it always say "Phone Not Recognized", it's driving me insane.

Sep 24, 2010So my phone was working fine up untill i did the update. now i plug my phone in and it says "USB Device not recognized" clicked on the message and the pic is what it said. its on 2 different computers too. tried un and reinstalling Kies, Drivers, Re-started,

Dec 23, 2009I can't figure out the exact circumstances, but at times the USB connection between my phone and the PC gets broken, and my phone no longer gets recognized. It seems to be a phone-side problem, because it is only rectified when I reboot the phone, but not the PC. The last time it happened was after an incoming call disrupted my PDANet connection. When I hung up, the USB icon was gone, and I had to reboot.

Just a quick Q when I plug the usb cable into my macbook it doesn't pop up on my desktop so I can open the phone and load all my movies and images and music on to it. It has 8GB of internal memory but no sd card, do I need an sd card before my macbook will recognize it?

1) i downloaded/installed the drivers
2) i unpackaged the rootkit onto the sdcard
3) i executed start_root.bat
4) the script(s) ran and the phone rebooted.
now, when i connect the phone to the computer (any computer) via usb, it isn't recognized. this is the main problem. i also downloaded rom manager, and it says i do not have root.
when i run start_root from the tutorial now:

Dec 21, 2009I want to connect my Behold 2 to my computer (Windows XP) via USB so that I can transfer mp3's. When I plug the USB I get the message "usb device not recognized". Does anybody know how to get past this?

Nov 27, 2010My Galaxy S doesn't recognise my MP3 files, although they are listed and in order in the player. When I click play, a message comes up and say's "This file does not exist". I connected my phone to the PC and clicked on a file and it works okay.

Samsung Galaxy S :: Not Recognized By Kies Software On Windows 7 64 Bit PC
Jul 18, 2010When I first got my Samsung Galaxy S 8GB I downloaded the Kies software and everything seemed to work O.K, I was even able to sync some of my music from my pc. I stored them on the phones internal memory and they worked fine, I haven't yet got around to buying a micro sd-card,besides why do I need to buy a card to increase the memory when the phones memory is practically empty. Now, a few days later when I connected to my pc, the Kies software launched but doesn't recognise the phone like it did before. It is not recognised in the Windows device manager list, I have uninstalled and re-installed Kies 3 times, all to no result. I noticed at the bottom of the download site it said it only supported Windows 7 32 bit, could that be the reason why it does not work properly?, if it is, why did it work O.K in the beginning?. Also when I try to use the music player it just tells me I do not have a sd-card installed, when it worked perfectly well last week.

Apr 22, 2010The mounting and unmounting of the sd card, I read up and Ordered a class 6 verbatum card. But the big Issue is my windows will not recognize the behold 2. When I hook it up it tells me usb device not recognized then inside it says Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) Port_#0006.Hub_#0005. I have tried to install the usb drives I found on this site but it will not allow them to install. I have gone in and deleted My upper and lower system file in the registry.
I have bought a new cable < universal> I did not have the OEM cable and Samsung refused to send me one said it was tmobiles responsibility. I have hooked it up to a Vista 32 bit system and nothing. Also when I hook it too the usb it only shows charging no usb notification on the screen. I seem to remember reading it should have a usb symbol on the upper right corner? I have also already set the system setting to usb mass storage.

Aug 18, 2010SO I flashed my BH2 to Eugenes 1.6 for galaxy rom and now my external sd card...yeah, the 2 GB one that came with the phone, is being recognized as the internal sd card....and there is no setting i can find to fix it. I formatted the sd card and reformatted it, but to no avail...still comes up when inserted into the phone as an internal sd card. b/c of this issue, i cant save pretty much anything to my phone, b/c many apps require an external sd source to save to.

I have spent all morning searching and reinstalling drivers and trying my old pc and new cables and i found out that my old windows 7 computer with 4GB of ram and an overloaded hard drive will detect my device the problem there is it not my main computer and i don't want to have to connect all the vga cables boot it up connect mouse and ets to use this computer just to be able to copy files, and do other things from my computer to my phone I don't know why my main computer dell inspiron windows 8 will not work when it was a couple of days ago when i had a problem with connectivity and had to flash back to stock but now it wont connect.

Dec 18, 2009When I connect my phone via USB to my laptop or my desktop using any of the USB ports, my phone blacks out, goes to an Android start graphic, briefly shows the home view then blacks out over and over. It does charge albiet slowly. I turn the phone off so it will charge fully. In addition I get an alert from Windows "USB Device Not Recognized". Works fine when not connected via USB.

Update- Well I got the PC to connect to the phone by updating the HTC sync driver but I still can't use the phone when it is plugged in to the USB. Screen goes dark and none of the buttons function and the charge light is lit.

I install Kies driver in windows 7 (on my laptop) , but my computer cannot recognize my phone. the phone is charged and when the phone plug in to my computer, sometimes the phone shows the message of USB Debugging connected and connected as a media device in top of screen and shows the pic of these but after a second again this message remove. My computer cannot shows my phone like a usb and i can't go to my sd card of my phone via my computer.
in some days later, my computer can recognize my phone but when i install Intellij , my computer can not recognize phone. I unistall kies and again i install this but when the install complete my computer shows a picture like this

Sep 19, 2011I've got a cheap Speedlink bluetooth mouse from eBay and it works fine with a PC; it pairs up nicely with my Desire HD (running RCMix3d Runny v1.3 ROM) too.
Oddly however, the icon in the 'bluetooth settings' page is not of a mouse, it's an icon of a keyboard.
Pair it up and there's no mouse pointer; move the mouse to the right and the homescreen moves to the next screen - left and you go to the left screen.
Seems my mouse is recognised as a keyboard, oddly enough only emulating the arrow keys. When running Cyanogen 7, it was recognised as a mouse - so what's different here?
Is there anyway of jimmying Android to recognise my mouse as a mouse and not a keyboard?
