Is there a way to link your Facebook contact with this phone like the HTC sense ui so that the contact have a fb photo instead of a blank face? I tried to facebook account login in settings already but no go

View 2 Replies View RelatedOK, i dont know how to, but for the life of me iv tried every possible way to add a photo from my gallery to some of my friends on my contact list but it wont let me theirs just no clean cut way that i can see, so if someone know how to please let me know, i tried syncing it with my facebook but half my friend have wrong numbers and its getting farking annoying.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo today i was looking at my contacts and i noticed that anyone who has a facebook account and is linked to my contacts, has 5 linked contacts in their info. thos 5 linked contacts all being repeats of the facebook contact. its like each contact is linked to itself 5 times. i tried deleting the extra ones but it says i cannot delete a read only contact and i tried displaying only my phone contacts and disabled contact sync with my facebook account but they are still showing up. any idea of what to do?

Just happened a few days ago, where one of my contacts on my phone from Gmail that was linked to Facebook all of a sudden is unlinked. When I tried to relink to fix it, the contact doesn't appear on the list to link. Going into the Facebook app, the contact is listed there. Anyone run into this or have any idea how to fix? Tried a reset already, after backing up apps/messages.

I brought over my contacts from the Pre - the FB profile pics did not migrate.
Is there a way to make this happen on the Evo - with or without a separate app? I'm talking about syncing my contacts with the FB app or something like that.

I just bought this phone. I was playing with the contacts and was wondering: can one select the facebook photo you want for each contact?
I have linked the facebook profile to my contact. I can choose "facebook" for the contact's photo, but I have no control over which photo is displayed.
Can I:
a) select a specific facebook foto?
b) save a specific facebook foto from the contact's facebook pictures and set the saved photo as the contact's picture?
I love the way the Hero's photo album and contact app integrates with Facebook / Flikr. From the album you can go right into you friend's pictures and thumb through them, and from the contacts you can see birthdays, Facebook profile pics, status updates, etc. Is there anything like this available in the market?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just rooted my phone and loaded a 2.1 ROM (Damage Control v2.08). Everything seems to be working great. I went into my contacts (reloaded through MS Exchange) and noticed that some of the Facebook photos were auto linked to a contact, but some were not. I am guessing the ones that did not do not have a name that matches exactly did not load.With the stock phone, I was able to manually select the Facebook friend I wanted to associate with my contact and it added the picture.With 2.1, when I try to manually select a Facebook contact through "Link Facebook Profile", the screen doesn't list anyone to choose from.It is just blank and says "no matches found".Has anyone else had this problem? I'm trying to figure out how to manually link people. I can log into Facebook with no problem and everything there seems to work.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI saw a previous thread (Changing my contact card picture) where a similar question was never quite resolved. I have the same issue except that my contact card has automatically synced to my facebook and I would prefer to change to a different picture that is not my facebook profile picture. There's no option to do so under people->my contact card and if I go to a picture in my albums it only lets me set the photo for a contact that is not me.

With alot of contacts, this could take somewhere between three to four years.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have several contacts that are linked from multiple sources - for example, I have my wife on FB, twitter, Gmail, etc. Currently the contact photo is pulled from Twitter, but it's an old photo and not updated nearly as much as her FB photo. Is there any way to set it so it defaults to Facebook photo for all contacts, or even a way to just change it for specific contacts of my choosing?

When I go to send a text message and press contacts, my contacts are there multiple times, but I can't see any differences because they are named the same. For example, my son Adam shows up twice in the contact list in text messaging, but only once when I press contacts from my home page.

Otherwise, its a stock phone. I text a lot while walking. I DONT recommend anyone try this while driving, but for walking while texting its quite handy..

I have an HTC EVO now, but I'm switching over to Verizon soon and was looking into either the Droid X, Droid 2, Fascinate, or Incredible. I was curious, can you link your contacts to people's Facebook pages like HTC can? The thing I like most is having their profile picture show when they call, rather than the standard Android logo. If someone can answer as soon as they can, that will be great seeing I will be picking up one of these phones tomorrow!
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have no issue syncing my FB contacts to my phone. They are all on my phone and in Contacts list. My issue is I can not link them to contacts I have already on my Phone. I click on FB name and it says "link contact" but it only lets me Link it to other FB contacts! It doesn't let me link them to phone entries I already have stored on my phone.

Is there a common app that may be causing this? Only thing I thought of was either the app Battery Booster, which selectively shuts down running processes to conserve battery, or Lookout, which is an antivirus and back up. Any thoughts?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the camera resolution set to superfine(5mp) and it takes really good pics.However,when I transfer them to my laptop and try to view them with the windows photo viewer they aren't anywhere near the resolution I took them in.Is there something I did or not doing ?,I took a 5mp Pic,transferred it to my pc and it showed up at less than 15kb in size when it should have been like 2-3 megs.

If I pull up a photo I just took, I have the option of sending it to Facebook, as well as tagging it. I can't figure out how to do this on my Moment.
