I've also heard there are some good games out there that are NOT available in the market.

Aug 24, 2010I have been thinking since I got my Captivate and I was using my friends Iphone 4. I preferred the captivate when I used it in the store in comparison but both are very good Smart Phones. Anyways Iphone games are better and i think its because they only have one phone to develop it for and its a fairly high end phone. My question to you is will there be any games coming out that are higher end that only work on like The Droid X, Galaxy S and higher end Android phones to really take advantage of the top end droid phones. My friend has some junk LG android that could no way run the quality of apps and games that our phones are capable of. Are these lower android phones holding us back?

Nov 21, 2010I don't mind paying as long as the game is good. For the specs of Captivate (1.0Ghz Processor, 512MB ram), Most of the games out there are just pitiful I don't know whether that's the result of lack game developers on Android or programmers today don't know how to optimize, I used to play way better games on a Pentium MX 166Mhz computer with 32MB ram (Quakes, Red Alert, C&C, Diablo just name a few so you know I am not bull shiting).

But I found and application called "tattachapkinstaller" where it lets you install apps from gmail. But the problem is when I tried to use the app it would say "install blocked: for security, your phone is set to block installation of application not sourced in android market". Jun 25, 2010The problem is that Xperia seem to remember the genre of the files before I corrected them. For example, if a song has genre as "JPOP" and I change them to "J-pop" that song will be both genre "JPOP" and "J-pop". So I have to scroll right 3 times to change genres from "J-pop" to "OST" (J-pop -> JPOP -> J-Pop -> OST) which is not what i want. How to completely replace the old genre so that it not appear in Xperia genre list?
