Nexus :: Hack Phone To Record HD?
Jul 29, 2010I see that there is a way to hack this phone to record HD. My android phone motorola xt701 has a 5 mp camera also, and records at 720x400 I believe. Is there a way so I can record HD?

How To Record Video Of PC Screen By Phone (nexus 5)
May 29, 2014I need to record video of PC screen by phone (nexus 5). Usually recorded video looks nicely, but sometimes there are overlapped frames: moto.jpg
Is any camera parameters, that can be set to avoid this blur? Or may be some tricks to record video from PC screen?
General :: Android Volume Increment Hack On Nexus 5 With Stock 4.4
Nov 23, 2013Doing the volume increment/steps modification on their Nexus 5 yet.I have followed this method that I found here :[URL]everything went smooth.
I got the framework.jar using BakSmali
edited the AudioService.smali file
generated classes.dex
merge classes.dex with framework.jar using 7-zip
push new framework.jar to my nexus5
change permission on framework.jar
I change the AudioService.smali so i can have 30 steps instead of the default 15 steps.The following is what i have after modifications.

Note that 0x1Et should give me 30 steps but my nexus 5 still only give me 15 steps on Music/Bluetooth.
Results:
I am still getting 15 steps while listening to music on both headphone jacks and Bluetooth devices.
I double check the total number of steps with some apps and confirmed that the original 15 was not changed.
I also double check if my framework.jar are pushed correctly by re-pulling the framework.jar and looking into the AudioServices file and they are all the newly modded values.
Nexus :: CM 5.8 Crashes When Trying To Record Video
Jul 4, 2010I have a Rooted Nexus One with Cyanogenmod..
Currently I am running CM 5.0.6-N1 as when I updated to CM 5.0.8-N1 the stable version, I was seeing the phone reset each time I tried to record a video.
Has anyone else seen this issue? Is there a fix? Do I need to do a wipe to get this to work?

Sep 3, 2010I have a rooted Google Nexus one that is running the stock 2.2. I have been going crazy trying to figure out why I dont have sound when playing back video I record ? The microphone works fine since I can use it to google search and so forth, it just wont record sound in video ? Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this ?

Is it possible to do this? Is it possible to get access to the microphone and what's coming through the speaker? I'm kind of new to Android development, so bear with me :) I assume that I could probably record into WAV and then at the end of the call, transcode it into MP3 using LAME or something. This may kill the battery, but this seems like a good project for me to get used to Android with. I'm looking to use Android 2.X.

I tried "All Call Record" but its a crappy app. I could hardly hear anything and even after uninstalling the app, th voice quality was bad. Had to reboot the phone.
I need something where I can select what part of the conversation to record. Say somebody is giving directions/phone numbers. Instead of fumbling for a pen to jot it down, I can just start recording and then turn it off when required so the file size is small.

I am not new to android: i have had the G1 which i did not root, the T-Mobile pulse, which i rooted and the HTC Legend and now the Nexus one.

With the legend i am am awhere of the Sence UI ? i liked how facebook contacts synced to my phone and when i rang i saw there display pictures, does the Nexus one do this?
SMS, is there a similar app to the legend, where you see threaded messages with a picture of there facebook dp?
I can't hear the phone when it rings, its so quiet, the volume is on max, is there anyway to increase this?

Sep 28, 2010Does anyone know of an app that can record phone calls to certain numbers (where the phone numbers to record can be in the app). I need this for times I ring customer service and they tell me something, then deny saying it later on and ask me to provide proof (that they damn well know I don't have).
I did have a manual call recorder but I kept forgetting to record the calls, especially at times I really should have. Also preferably one that doesn't make a beep in the call, but not absolutely essential. If there is no app available as I explained, could someone please tell me an app that automatically records every call.
