Anyone update to the new version of the flash Beta.and then have flash disappear from there download list? I searched the market and it is there but when I hit downloads to view my downloads its gone. Off the list, where it was before. Weird, anyone else?

I recently bought a Nexus S 4G from Craigslist. The phone has a cleam ESN but it has been flashed to Boost. How do I get the phone flashed back to sprint? All of the things I have found so far talk about installing custom ROMs and flashing to other carriers. I want to go back to stock Sprint.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo now that we have the wireless hotspot option I'm done with root. Especially considering I haven't been able to get weather updates for the past two weeks and my phone restarts when trying to install new apps.
I'm ready to just set everything back to stock and go back to getting OTAs. I know I can't relock the phone.
My problem is, I have the stock recovery image however whenever I flash it and try to go into recovery it shows me this screen with a little android guy and a big triangle with an exclamation point inside. And then it sits there until I do a battery pull.
I've tried this with the stock recovery from a couple different sources MD5 checks are all good.
Is there a way to get flash on a nexus 7? I have the smart swf player app from the Google play but I don't think that's the.

View 14 Replies View RelatedFirst of all i'm quite a n00b when it comes to rooting and everything, however back in feb when i got mt ATT n1 I decided to root cause of the cool apps that wouldnt run on non-rooted phones.I followed a step by step guide with success. Then the early 2.2 build came out and I loaded it with CM updater and it worked fine. However apps crash often and the phone seems sluggish. I want to flash to the newest release... thing is I don't know where to start.I don't mind loosing all the apps and contacts since I have everything backed up. I just want a completely clean 2.2 flash.Any idea of where to start? I saw the thread that talked about upgrading but since i'm already on 2.2 I dont know what to do.

Is there a easy way to get flash player on a rooted stock android 4.4.2. I don't want to use dolphin browser for flash player.

Just upgraded nexus 5 to 4.4.2and the flash control is greyed out even with HDR+ deselected. I tested the flash by sheilding light with my hand and it works (on auto) just greyed out cant change from auto to manual. Pretty ordinary if you ask me. would like to force flash on on occasion.

BTW, I had no problems flashing pa to my Nexus 4&10 and loving that rom.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe screen lag is kind of driving me nuts in 2.2 and I'm thinking about going back to 2.1 for a while to see if i miss the updates in 2.2 enough to live with the homescreen lag.
I've installed LauncherPro and the screen redraws are better, but still happen enough to annoy me.
I'm not sure if i use flash too much, but i know i need 2.2 for it. But what about the updates to gmail, youtube, etc? Do those show in the market if I'm on 2.1?
Also, I didn't root until 2.2 so I don't have a backup of my 2.1. Is there a simpler way to flash back to 2.1 without using RSD? The link I found to an image for 2.1 to flash no longer works.
I, like a boss, jumped right on the 2.2 leak and updated my phone right off the bat. Lost root, came to the forums, realized that copying a single file could have saved me, cried a bit inside my heart, and finally started the process to flash back to "stock" so that I can re-root, and update the right way without losing root again.
So I downloaded the .sbf file. Downloaded RSDLite 4.6 and attempted to flash. Error: can't access the INI file... sigh

Googled here and there and searched our happy old forums. No luck. Just stupid people giving stupid advice like "try a different USB port". Did I mention I hate people who just reply to a thread with a lame ass "suggestion" even though they clearly have no clue what they're doing?
So I need to know if there is another way to flash back to 2.1 or 2.0.1 (whichever the case may be) so that I can do this upgrade the right way without losing root?
Also, would one of the mods/admins please go back and edit the original "HOW-TO upgrade to 2.2" thread in the basic Droid-X forum and put a huge bold disclaimer for those of us who have our phones rooted to GO TO THE THREAD IN THE "ALL THINGS ROOT" FORUM AND READ THAT FIRST....
Could have saved all my troubles if this information was stated in the first place. I know this is sounding like I'm complaining. Which I guess I am. And I know it's my fault for not reading more before I went ahead and jumped in to the update. But seriously, one little line of text could have saved so many of us so much trouble.

I just installed Dolphin HD browser but for some reason it's not loading any flash content on any site. Anyone have any ideas why not? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and rebooting as well. I'm out of ideas. The stock browser still works though. I'm on FRF91, non-rooted.

I have been searching for a way to get my trackball to flash when a calendar reminder goes off. It flashes on calls, text, email e.t.c. but not calendar?? The flash process seemed to go smoothly until the phone booted up. RSDLite had said to manually start the phone, but it had already booted on its own.
