i have about 100 contacts on my Tmobile Razr and id like to know what the easiest way to go about that is.I simply dont have the patience to manually do it. i tried usb connecting my RAZR to my computer...didnt recognize it tried bluetooth syncing and transfering....said unsupported media type or something like that or it just couldnt "connect" when i turned bluetooth on.

got a Droid RAZR M, upgraded from my OG Droid.
So I hooked it up and installed the software and stuff. Do I have to use that and WMP to transfer music to my phone? For some reason WMP won't detect my phone, even though the software comes up when I plug it in. WMP only gives me the option to copy to CD, it doesn't recognize the phone as a device.
How do i transfer contacts from my old blackberry tour to my new X? Do i need to go to a store to do this?

I've searched the forum and elsewhere but can't figure out how to transfer music from my hardrive onto the phone. I have managed to synch my phone contacts/calendar (which was a job in itself).
The PC which is an XP home version, does not pick up my phone to allow me to transfer files. Can anyone offer advice in very simple terms please?
I bought the Droid and they were clueless about how to transfer contacts. I tried connecting them via bluetooth and they pair but don't connect. After searching it seems Android only uses bluetooth for headsets. Does anybody know how to make this work via bluetooth or have any other solution for me?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI need to go to the Verizon store to have them transfer contacts from my old work phone to my Droid. Is it going to write over the numbers I already have in my phone? My second question is my Droid is rooted with BB 0.4, is that going to be an issue when I go into the Verizon store? I'm not sure they would notice its rooted since they shouldn't go into any settings but maybe someone else knows more.

I don't want to add everyone on facebook to my phone contacts list, but I'd like to be able to put some friends I have as facebook contacts into my main list and the 'add to contacts' option in the call log doesn't work the way it does for unknown numbers. The only workaround I've found is to add to favorites, but they still won't show in the main list.

Looks fine on the web GMail but not in the GMail client on the phone. No option to show pictures or anything like that. Any ideas? Tried to take a screenshot but the stupid screenshot option only works on the home screen Email shows that there is an attachment but there is no way to open it, any ideas would be great

2. Goto File
3. Import and Export
4. Select "Export to a file" and Click Next
5. Select "Comma Seperated Values (Windows)" and click Next
6. Select Contacts and click Next
7. Choose a destination for the file to be saved and click next
8. Click Finished
If you have excel or a spreadsheet program, go ahead and open the file. In the last name field make sure that each person either has a last name or has some letter in the field or they will not import correctly. They will just end up showing up with a phone number w/o a name. After doing this, resave the file........

View 4 Replies View RelatedI rooted my Razr M (XT905) to remove a bunch of the pre installed apps.All worked fine and phone runs great. But I cant import my contacts from my google account. Gmail and app store syncing works fine, just contacts are missing.
When I access the options menu in the contact section, google isn't showing. When I look at the accounts in the settings menu, the google account is there and has the option checked to sync 'people details' (guessing this is the same as contacts).
So I'm guessing I've deleted something when removing the apps.
