View 8 Replies View RelatedWe can add some icons in the status Bar but I can not find the way to modify the status Bar's background. E.G. I want to use one image to replace its current white background.
View 2 Replies View RelatedCan you change the status bar color, and if so, how? I have the Skyraider 2.5.2 Rom.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a HTC One with Kit Kat 4.4.2. Since the last update, I cannot see the status bar because it is white and the background on my wallpaper is white. Yes, I could change the picture, but I'd rather find a way to make the icons black or to make the status bar black with white icons. When I have an app open, the status bar is black with white icons. Why can't I get that on the home page? My phone is not rooted and I don't plan to do that.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to change the opacity of the status bar, by editing some files within the phone? I'm using a Galaxy Note (n7000) with CM10.1.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFirst: I have to edit the SystemUI.apk or the Framework-res.apk? (because in systemui i dont have battery icons, but yes wifi and etc); And in framework-res i have all the statusbar icons.
Second: I have to edit the .png images with patch 9.png or something?
Third: All the images to replace have to be exactly the same size of pixel? or 2 or 3 pixel more high or width doesnt matters?
I have root , and hate the black status bar. I'm happy with my rom and theme, is there an easy way to change the color?

View 19 Replies View RelatedI finally uninstalled Home ++, as bad as it killed me to do it, I couldn't tolerate the force closes and bog down any longer. My Droid is screaming fast now, but I plan on reinstalling Home++ when the issues get worked out. One of the things I liked was the way it hid the status bar. Is there any other app or option out there to hide the status on the stock home?
View 12 Replies View RelatedIs there anyway to have the date show up in the status bar?
View 5 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to show/hide the status bar without creating a new "full screen" activity?
I want to creating something like Firefox browser, where user can toggle the "full screen" mode.
Okay so this phone is using 2.1, not rooted, just more or less as I got it from Sprint or whatever. Is there an app that will allow me to change the colors of the status bar from black text on light grey to something else? Tried SweeterHome 2 but it didn't really pan out,... I'd load a theme and it'd change everything but the status bar. None of the other "home" programs I've found appear to even touch the status bar. So now I wonder if the status bar is something that Sprint or Samsung or Android itself just won't let people touch. You know, maybe I want the little battery to light up some color other than green. Or whatever.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI made some changes to the status bar and for the most part it went smooth other than the signal icon. I have a D3 with the Eclipse 3 rom. I used Ninjamorph went into framework , apps, systemui.apk and changed the png files of the signal bar png's. when I reboot the new image shows up but changes back to the old style when the 3g or 1x kicks in. do I need to change a different signal png?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI use the GPS functions and My Tracks quite frequently on my DX. I was wondering if there was a way to check to see which satellites the DX locks on to and their strength - much like a GPS unit (Garmin, etc)?
I would like to use this information to check some settings while on trails as well as getting the Lat/Long of my position.
If I have to use an APP to do this can you recommend a good one?
I have a strange problem. I have my GPS turned off, yet the gps icon on the status bar is still on. What's up with that? I verified that the GPS was off in Settings. I turned it on (sucessfully) and then off again (verified) and yet the icon is still being displayed. Rather strange. I'll try a power cycle to see if that changes it.[It is gone after a power cycle. I don't know when it showed up. Perhaps after updating Google Maps tonight].
View 2 Replies View RelatedBasically it blends your status bar with your background and looks fantastic in my opinion: Was hoping someone had a metamorph for this or even a tutorial that I could attempt to follow.

View 49 Replies View RelatedCan someone tell me what the 'MIN' value is on the Droid X under the Menu -> Settings -> About -> Status? It appears to be a phone number but it isn't mine.
This is just under the 'My Phone Number' field (which does have the correct phone number) and just above the MEID.
Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but occasionally when I swipe up from my home screen (when notifications are not being displayed) my status bar will disappear, and the only way I can get it back is by going into ADW settings and checking "hide statusbar" and then unchecking it right away. I don't have the hide enabled...it's just disappearing. Seems like a glitch.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a clear status bar that I could install over the latest cyanogen rom. I had one from fadelight, but it doesn't play nice with the market.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've downloaded a few applications so far and even though they were successful, I have a bunch of 'download complete' icons on the top status bar of my home screen. At least, that is what I think they mean. I did not find a description of them in the user manual They look like a little black 'page' with a check-mark in the middle.
Do they have any meaning (other than download complete)? How do they get cleared out? They are filling up my status bar. I bet if I reboot they will go away, but it seems like they should disappear after a short period of time (they don't).
Does anyone know what the current status is on froyo and when it will come out for the droid X?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to know if there is a way to change the phone number in Settings> About Phone > Status. It's strange - I've only had the phone a few days, got one at the same time as my wife. For some reason the Phone number according to my device is my wife's number although it definitely has my SIM card in the slot and is functioning with the right number. Whereas my wife's device reads unknown in this field. How can I change it to my number?
View 3 Replies View RelatedIm curently running cyanogen/tazz v6 first I have heard people talking about upgrading from RC1 to RC2 where can I download RC2. If I can't no biggie but my main question is, is there a way to change the color of the batery life indicator in the status bar.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am writing an app that connects to a telnet server via wifi. I have a service that manages the socket connection. It all works fine, but when the phone sleeps it disconnects the wifi radio, which causes the socket connection to break (and throws a SocketException). I feel like I should be able to set up a a broadcast receiver whose onResume() method is called when the wifi network connection is lost, and that would allow me to gracefully shut down the socket, and re-open it if the network is immediately re-connected. But I can't find anything like that in the doc or via searching.
