Just started getting these error messages when sending texts:

Cause code: 98
Error class: 3
just ordered my X. doing some research so when it gets here I can take care of things: I am needing to block any txt/sms msgs other than those in my contacts. Is that possible? if so, how and such.

When I pull up contacts, I see options for voice call and IM, but not phone text. I looked everywhere I could find, checked to see that the contact was listed as a mobile number. Someone please take pity on me and tell me the secret !!!

I put my cursor in the "To:" textbox and then press the icon that lets me add people from my contact list, but after I select them and press "done," it says "The message must contain valid recipients and content."
View 17 Replies View RelatedI just got my x a few days ago and have never had a smartphone (i'm coming from the Dare)...i was trying to send a picture in a text message today, and it sent it horizontal... i took the picture vertically...and when i attached it to my text message it sent it sideways. so i rotated the picture 90 degrees and sent it, and it was still sideways.... anyone know how to fix this? i take most of my pics vertically...and i don't want them posting to facebook or sent to my fam sideways!

It's happened a few times over the last few days. A little red envelope appears with something that looks like a timer. Message eventually sends, but several minutes later.

I'd like to know if the contacts program or the texting app that came loaded on the phone have a way to send text messages to groups.(Maybe this is a Google question.) I'm using Gmail contacts, which load into the phone fine, but I can't locate (in the phone) the groups I've set up. (As if they don't survive the sync). So the only way to send txt to multiple recipients is to enter each manually. Can get tedious for large lists.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having issues with sending text messages to a few people and they aren't even all on the same carrier.I have been using CM 5.0.6.1 and really haven't had any problem until today.I switched to the stock 2.1 with root because i thought that maybe it was the rom and still these people can't receive my text messages they can send me messages and I receive them but I cannot send them out.I have reactivated my phone twice now and nothing has worked.Any help would be much appreciated.I know I said in the title i can't receive them but I can sorry i'm kind of tired at the moment.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having is when I try to send a picture through picture message I get an error saying message size limit reached, you cannot attach this to your message. So in order to send a picture this way do I have to either:
a. change my camera settings to lower resolution?
b. is there a program or setting to automatically send a smaller image and keep my high res photo?
Obviously I would prefer option B as this camera rocks and takes some good pics.
