so our droids sync google, big duh there, google phone! but its also does facebook, why is that? why not myspace? i dont even own a myspace account any more, but there are friends there that havent made the move to facebook, or dont like facebook so made the move back... anyone have a reason?

Id like to keep my myspace account linked to the phone but I dont want everyone from myspace put into my contacts... How can I remove the myspace contacts yet keep myspace linked to my phone.

Is there a way to change the settings of the phone book just to list my gmail phone number and addresses without having to sort the contacts every time? Also is there a way to delete contacts on your phone without having to delete them on myspace, facebook, etc?

The problem I have is that I only want about 10pct of the facebook list and only about 1% of the google contact list. And google has best email while facebook has picture and date of birth. Is there something that will allow me to combine these? how did you go about forming the best contact list?

I did the *228 option 1, and that worked for a while, but now I've had to do it a few times a week because my email will just randomly stop being pushed to my phone.

I do the Settings>Accounts and sync>Add Account>Facebook and all it does is go back to the add account page... I had this problem before I used JRummy's so I don't think it is the ROM... (that time I just kept hitting facebook and it eventually worked).

I noticed the app itself was 3MB and after using it a few times the data is up to 12MB, so the entire thing is up to 15MB. Is the data like the cache on the browser, can the data be deleted, if so, how?..if not this program is too hoggy its just going to keep growing the more I use it.

I can create an account without error, but there is no folders and blank inbox. I get no errors. Any ideas? Anything special with Exchange 2010? View 1 Replies View RelatedI created some events in my google calendar on my Mac desktop. I am not using iCal for this, I am using Google. Anyway, when I mounted my Droid to the desktop, I figured it would sync on its own with the new information I entered on the desktop calendar but nothing changed on the phone. The only change I noticed was that US Holidays popped up but several events I created did not show up on my phone. What am I doing wrong? I thought the Droid syncs with no problem with the google calendar?

I have the phone set on Wi-fi, and in Performance mode and the email still doesn't sync unless I do it manually. Checkout gSyncit.Yes, it's $15. But for that price, you get an integrated solution to Microsoft Outlook that will sync your contacts and calendar to you gmail account. So even if you don't have a gmail account for your email...setup a dummy account and set gSyncit to sync your contacts/calendar to it. Then just setup your Android device to sync with the same account. In the end, you basically end up with a free push system that will always keep your desktop and Android device wirelessly synced.There are several other free sync solutions out there...but I've found most of them to be rather abysmal in their consistency and usability. In addition, gSyncit will sync contact pictures.

I figured this out the hard way when 2 new numbers did not show up after a clean wipe a week ago. Only the 2 new ones were missing and the starred in android doesn't show accurate contacts, missing 4 that are in my main contact section but starred in the phone by me.
