I experimented with 2 different things. The Original file size for the wallpaper on the Camera app is 192x192. I edited a photo to be that size (the black and white one) and did the steps below. I then redid another one with a 854x480 pixel size photo and it also worked. So Anything up to 854x480 will work! Finally no more ugly grey looking wallpaper when taking pictures!

If i specify image for the EditText in the layout XML file (android:back ground) it looks different and looks different when i specify it at runtime EditText et = (EditText)find ViewById (R.drawable .et1) ; et.setBackgroundDrawable (Main.themes.getDrawable (EDRAWABLES.EditText BackgroundImage )); Both codes point to the same image. When i specify the image at runtime , the EditText leaves a margin at the top and bottom of the cursor in the edittext which does not happen when i do it in XML. I have attached the screenshots of both images. Top image is the one drawn from XML and bottom one is given at runtime. I am not getting the difference ? Actually i am facing similar problems with other Widgets too if i change the logic of specifying the drawable at runtime and not at compile time.. Is this the default SDK behaviour? The entire screen is a textView/ect and i would like to be able to write a sentence then draw an image and write again. By draw i think i would use the Canvas, so basically is there a way to include a canvas in a text view?
Evernote does do this, but to edit an image/draw you need to open another app "Skitch", my goal is to try and do this without any extra apps.

Does anyone know how to set a picture as your wallpaper without cropping the image to fit all 7 screens on the evo. Basically I had a wallpaper app called "shake them up" which allowed me to set any of my pictures as the wallpaper without cropping them. After the latest update the app is making me crop like the phone does.

HELP? I have tried stretching the crop box as far as it will go, but that is only 50%at best. i also have tried NOT tapping anything on the screen other than save but it still crops it.

I used following code :

and wallpaper image is set but it spans across all 3 home screen. How can i fix it to one screen so that if user swaps home screen a single image will display.
I notice when ever I set a wallpaper the image quality is crap. all the wallpapers i try are at least 800x480 but most are normal computer wallpaper size so they should fit fine after being cropped.

Does it just require cropping the picture and resizing it to fit perfectly the size of the screen or there is some other way of solving this issue? I want to use the newest Bugles beast Rom update.zip but i want to insert the Adamz kernal, wifi driver, and a framework-res file so it can all be installed in 1 update. reason for this is i have 3 friends that i have rooted phones for and would like to keep them updated with the most current rom but i want them to only have to install 1 file (they are not very tech savy). so anyways i tried simply dropping those files in there appropriate place and installing it but i get an error "(bad) installation aborted" so what do i need to create/edit an update.zip file. i read maybe i need to sign the update but i have no idea how to do that.

Maybe 1 random reboot per day (or it will freeze playing angry birds) How do I modify to OC 1.2 Is there a preferred method to accomplish this? I've tried searching and I only got more confused. I've seen manual methods and I've seen apps free and paid... I know I'll need to edit the set scaling.sh. I haven't done that but I'm willing to try? Which method should I use? Do you have setting that are stable at 1.2? If so please share. I really think the 1.2OC will be the sweet spot for my DX.
