I don't have a droid...yet...I must know if it will work with my work MS Exchange Server. Our IT guy forces us to install a certificate (.cer) to access the server (web server). Will .cer files install on the droid?I must know this BEFORE purchasing it.

I uploaded about 50 pictures from iPhoto (using a Mac) just to see what they looked like and then later formatted the Droid's SD card, so the pictures were no longer there.
Now, if I mount the Droid via USB and view the file structure there is a folder named /albumthumbs which contains 50 files, presumably for the 50 pictures a had on the SD card.
To me, these file, unless linking to actual photos stored on the SD card, take up extra space in the phone's memory (not worried about the SD card). I wonder if I can safely delete them (just the files...not the folder)?
I'm Sure it can be done, but how...?

I've loaded up my sdcard with .zip files of a few ROMs I'd like to try, go through the whole process of loading up a new ROM, and every single time the phone boots back into the stock ROM. I've had some success with loading up the given ROMs in ROM Manager- but I'm trying to install Smoked Glass 8 or Ultimate Droid, and those are not working.

They aren't even showing up in the players although they are in the folder on the sd card. Is there a patch or something I can do to get cubed to recognize them? Its almost half my music. View 2 Replies View Relatedi have 3 different pdf viewer apps downloaded including the documents to go one that was 15 bucks. the problem is, there are certain types of pdf attachments that still wont open (they are text pdfs), picture pdfs do work. it says "this attachment cannot be displayed" after it tries to fetch it.

View 13 Replies View RelatedJust have a quick question: whenever I download zip files from all....droid(specially the theme files etc) using dolphin browser it asks me to save as "file.php". I usually download it on to my computer and unzip it prior to moving it to my sd card.Tried renaming the .php file to .zip once its downloaded onto the sd card. Problem is that trying to access it gives me an error message. When I do it from a PC it works fine though.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my refurb today and it wont let me install the smoked glass roms neither v4 or v5. i rooted the phone with no problems. and i had smoked glass running perfect on my other phone.
I go to "advanced nandroid restore" then "choose backup" and i choose the smoked glass rom then the phone says: "nandroid exited with status 25." and if i try to use the backup rom i made it says "nandroid exited with status 21". any ideas? ive tried several times today with same results.
Did a factory reset. Unrated did not remove Ny bloatware juat rooted to use wifi tether. Now the ota update keeps failing. What is going on?

My only question is is how do you install SPRecovery? When rooting the Eris you would install the Recovery Image right after rooting. I have searched around and am unclear on how this is done on the Moto. Could someone please point me in the right direction.
