Motorola Droid X :: Multicolored Notification LED

Has anyone actually seen this phone in action? How are it's notification LEDs? Does it have multiple colors like the original droid or just 2 colors like the Incredible? And how bright are they? Might be a little picky, but that is one thing I miss from my droid. The incredible LEDs suck, they are set so deep that you have to be directly facing the face of the phone or else you cant see them. It is nice to just look down at your cup holder to see if you have a message. edit: it looks like the spec sheet calls out a "tri-color" LED. A google search calls this a red/green/blue setup that can do combinations to make different colors. so it looks positive that it will be the same as the original droid.

I have a voicemail notification that won't go away, even after i check my voicemail. The weird thing is that I use Google Voice, so I never get voicemail notifications except for this one. It won't clear even when I clear other notifications away. I am rooted, and running the Revolution theme.

Anyone know how or if you can safely change the color of the notification bar? I saw a thing on another forum to download and do some stuff to get it black but it seemed kind of sketchy at the moment.

I want to run Trapster in the background at all times, but it displays the little police car in the Notification Bar. Is there anyway to stop it from being in the notification bar?

I can't figure this out. I know how to change my "notification" ringer which is my text. I know how to change my standard ringer. I know how to assign ringers to contacts. Is there a way to change my ringer for Google Talk and Emails? I can't figure any of those out.

I just yesterday noticed they aren't working, emails nor text messages. I don't know when it started not working, but I think it was working when I first installed bugless beast v1.0
LED notifications:
Stock email = none
Stock messaging = none
Custom stock messaging in BB = none
Handcent = none
I wiped cache/data/system everytime I installed a ROM to fix it.
Bugless beast v1.0 (twice) - not working
NexBeast - not working
Leaked BB - not working
It was working before with the leak for sure.
I don't have any other roms and with the alldroid drama I can't get them.
I checked setting and spare parts multiple times for some setting to no avail.

So my FB app doesnt re-up any FB notifications for some reason. It has been two solid days and on my phone it says I haven't had any notifications for 2 days on FB... while on the reg site (from my comp) I have had approx 15. Why isn't my FB app getting notifications?

I got the X synced with my Exchange server just fine. The problem is that I'm not getting a notification whenever I get a new email. I have to go into the Email app to see if anythings come through. I have it set to give me an audible alert and that's not working either. This will be a real deal breaker if I can't get it fixed.

Not sure if this is a Droid-specific question, but here goes. Right now I have the device set to alert me when it gets, say, an email. The problem is, it will only alert me to the first email, and if I do not check it, it will not alert me for subsequent emails. While I realize the rationale behind this, I really like how my BB tells me every time I get an email. Anyone have an idea on how to enable this?

I just switched to the inc so i of course no longer have the default notification sounds that came with the moto droid. i always used the kubar sound, and i really miss it. is there any way for anyone to record this or copy this somehow and send it to me so i can use it for my notification sound again?

I was looking to make my notification bar transparent so if anyone could help that would be great. Before you start saying how i should learn to search, I already have ( Changing the statusbar color ) and the one post that had the file and instructions i wanted is now missing the file which sucks. I already have a transparent notification window(drag down) but not bar.

I took the easy way, and more due to lack of time, as I am tech savvy, I used the SM Updater and now the DM updated to ROM my droid. But I do miss the black notification bar.I saw that Metamorph could do some settings, and I installed their blue theme, but all it did was change the colors of certain things, I thought I was going to get the bar too.So, how I do get the black bar with the cool round battery? Or should I just ROM to Smoked Glass ROM? I want to give this one a chance before I move to something else

I'm looking for a bar and battery icon just like the 24k MM theme but without the middle number showing the percent of battery life and it goes from green to red when almost empty. Anyone point me in the right direction? i also got the 24kk theme but just want to put the notif. bar on what file is it under?

I'm using the app Easy Reminder to get constant notifications when I have a missed call or a text message. But it doesn't work on voicemails. Anyone know of something that will work on all three?
I can't understand why this isn't base functionality in Android. Even my plain old basic cell phone from 10 years ago did this.

Out of nowhere, I got a voicemail notification in my notification bar.(Cassette looking thing) I don't remember ever seeing it because I've had Google Voice for so long.
I've tried Powering on/off, battery out, uninstalling GV, hour on phone with VZ tech support. The notification bar doesn't give me a clear option.
If I call*86, it says I have no voice mails.
This notification is very annoying and I don't want to do a factory reset..

I think it'd be pretty cool to see what notification sounds everyone is using. I find it hard to discover new sounds when the time comes for it.

so i am using the stock android email app and recently whenever i delete an email and exit from the application i get a notification that i have a new email, but when i go back into the email application there is no new email. i have tested it out and say i delete 3 emails, i will receive a notification saying that i have 3 new emails. the notification will always show the number of emails i have just deleted even though there are no new emails. the emails do not reappear like other people have problems with. i think my phones just playin mind games with me
just wondering if anyone else had this issue and if k9 email could fix this.
ps: it is an aol email account, if that matters

I did some searching and didn't really come up with an answer, so flame away if it's out there. Is there a way to get rid of the entire notification bar at the top of the screen? I am running Bat Stat and Clockr so I thought it would be nice to get rid of it.

Is anyone else having issues with gmail notifications? I check my gmail and have emails from a day ago but no notifications have come through. Sync for each account is turned on and background data is turned on. I have factory reset twice and it has fixed nothing. Deleted all folders in my gmail accounts as well.

It doesn't always happen but occasionally Ill look up while surfing through dolphin and the notification bar will be gone, and I'm not in full screen mode because the tabs for different pages are still there.
I was thinking that maybe there was a setting I hit accidentally?
