Just a question about charging this phone, do you guys see that it takes longer to charge this through the PC rather than the wall? Also about how long should it take for a full charge? Lastly is there harm to overcharging the battery?

How long is everyone elses Desire taking to charge?
Mine's been on for nearly 2 hours, and has only risen by 40%
To all those who have battery issues.... How long do you charge your battery for? Check this out:
Saturday night -> Sunday - charged phone for 7 hours
Sunday - about 18-19 hrs of battery life - moderate usage
Charged from 6pm sunday night to 4am monday - (10 hours on charger)
Monday -> Tuesday - 38 hours of battery life - moderate usage
Charged tuesday from 1030pm to 4am wednesday (6 hours on charger
Tuesday - 16 hours of battery life - moderate usage.
BOTTOM LINE: I think the phone says it is charged way before it actually is full. Let me know if anyone else is having the same issues....
Just got the phone an want to turn it on. the manual however states to charge fully before you turn it on.

So far I love it!Anyway, the guy told me to charge the phone all night long.I played with the phone this afternoon and the battery completely died at about 7pm. I plugged it in and checked it at 10pm and it was at 100%. Should I keep it plugged in all night long? The paperwork doesn't say to keep it charging after it's reached 100%.

One of the people who posted a comment in it claims that by long pressing on their volume rockers, will skip tracks. Does anyone here know if this is true? Apparently it only works with 2.1 and if this is the case, which I can't do cause I am running BB v1 but i am confused cause its in 2.1 even though I rooted under 2.0.1. Can anyone confirm this?

It did go thru 'usb connect', did NOT load driver, and is 'not charging'?USB symbol at top of screen(Launcher Pro), screen stays on but no moving charger symbol.Am I actually charging?Does the battery icon just not move with USB connect with Launcher Pro?Will find out one way or the other EDIT: OK. I changed the 'USB connection' setting from "PC Mode" to "Charge Only" and the battery symbol now shows charging. That is weird.

Does anyone know if I can safely charge my Droid via the USB port in my car's stereo? It's an aftermarket stereo, Pioneer I belive it is. Will this harm either my phone or the stereo? Will it work? Or will it simply do nothing at all?
