View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently Rooted my droid 1, and it went well, nothing wrong with it. I was wanting a new ROM, so i used RSD Lite to flash SP recovery to my phone. I flashed it and the screen say SPR has been installed. So on my CP on RSD Lite it said Rebooting your phone. It never rebooted it and after a while RSD said Please manually reboot your phone. So i did and when it rebooted it had the battery icon displaying o battery charge, even though i knew my phone wasn't dead, because i had it plugged in with maybe 40% remaining or so. So after unlocking my phone it displayed the Android Shutting Down Screen, but it didnt shut down, it halfway rebooted back to the "Red Eye" on start up, and it repeated this cycle over and over. I pulled the battery. Right now somehow the phone managed to stay off after shutting down, and i have it plugged in to my computer, and the little white LED light next to the USB port is on. I havent restarted it but im seeing if it will charge.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI use this browser on my NokiaN95. It's ridiculously fast and it pretty much does everything, even Flash... I've posted a link to their platform requirements page which is way over my newbie head -- so if you are a bit technically minded, can you tell me if this would work on the Droid? Also, if I would have just downloaded it to try it and it would it have NOT worked, could I have screwed something up by doing so? (I didn't try yet, thought I'd check first.) Bolt Browser - FAQ

View 2 Replies View RelatedAll the new features sites said Flash 10 was part of Driod 2.2. 2.2 was pushed to my phone overnight and I installed it. However when I go to the Adobe Flash showcase, it says I don't have flash installed. So I search the market place and do not see flash as a download. Is this just something that will come later? I really don't read up on Driod all the time so I don't know all the news, just a regular user.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have gotten both the Flash Player and Flash Lite APK's, and I have been trying to install them on the Droid. Flash Player refuses to install on stock 2.1. Flash Lite installs, but after install I can not connect to the internet (Nothing connects, Skype, market, random app, browser.)
So I wanted to know if anyone wanted to do some testing with them, to see if you can get them running on the ROM you are running. Maybe we will be able to make fun of iDevices earlier, because Droid Does what iDont

View 7 Replies View RelatedI rooted using the SMUpdater and am now running Sholes 2.03. To flash other ROMs, would it just be a matter of downloading the update.zip file and installing that from recovery?
View 4 Replies View RelatedFailure. Ok I rooted using Visionary. Everything works great but my camera will not open so I thought I would flash with 2.2 and start over. See if that was the issue. I did a hard reset of the system and the phone is still rooted which I understand. My problem is I can't seem to figure out how to successfully flash. I downloaded both RSD Lite and SBF 2.2. I have attached my Droid X to my PC and checked debugging. I have opened the Droid X window on my PC which only shows my SD Card. I then go to my folder holding both RSD Lite and 2.2. I click on RSD Lite and open it and install it. After that I'm lost. Nothing happens. What am I suppose to do move forward.
View 9 Replies View RelatedSo I downloaded droid x bootstrapper and ROM manager, removed my NEXTHEME and black status bar, and when I tried to install the stock droid x 2.2 file from ROM manager it failed. not only that, all of my apps except for superuser app were deleted including launcher pro once it booted back up. it's almost as if I have a stock phone (i chose reboot from the recovery screen. did this flash the SBF by chance?) still says 2.1 update 1 for version. I get the following code...

If I go into astro and find com.adobe.flashplayer I click on the launch button and it says activity not found -com.adobe.flashplayer. I have droid w/ bb 0.2.1 running 800Mhz. I haven't added a new kernal or any theme.
Am I going to be able to get any flash support on my X on launch, or am I going to have to wait until the end of summer? I know on my incredible I got a flash and with a handy hacked apk from 2.2 I got full flash support, but from what I can tell i wont even get flash light on the X is that right?

View 20 Replies View RelatedI just rooted my phone a bit ago and tried a few different roms on Rom Manager. I got to the Ultimate Droid 10 New Era or something one and now I'm stuck in a bootloop. It keeps loading the UD circle and flipping it then goes blank and repeats. What do I need to do to get it out of this? edit- I held X while turning it on to get into the clockwork menu and nandroid to try to restore the boot but it still didn't work. Was still looping the Ultimate Droid boot screen. edit again- I went back to that menu and restored system this time. Still loops but its the original droid boot screen now.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just flashed back to 2.1 using RSDlite 4.7 and the sbf file, but is my operating system up to date? As soon as I flashed it, i rooted it and that all works fine, but i hear that rooting doesn't allow OTA updates. I went into settings and found that my phone said it was up to date, but idk if this is accurate with rooting right after the sbf flash.
