Aug 4, 2010So now that we have flash 10.1 I am wondering what websites you folks are utilizing to take full advantage of the update. I tried mlb.tv but everything comes in extremely choppy and tells me not optimized for mobile. I also went to comedy central.com but that is mostly short clips, So I was wondering if you guys had any sites that you could help the rest of us out with. (Also if someone knows a site to get It's always Sunny in Philly episodes it would be great).

Aug 3, 2010Whenever I go to a site with Flash my screen has a little green arrow over the "flash" areas. Once I click it, all works fine. Any way of getting Flash to load automatically and avoiding the extra step?

Sep 5, 2010I hate the fact that when browsing web sites, I'm always directed to the "mobile" (WAP) site if there is one! Just wondeirng if there is a way to keep the Droid X browser from loading mobile (WAP) sites? I don't care to be directed to mobile sites. I know with the HTC Droid Incredible, as well as many other Android smartphones (other than Motorola it seems) there is an option to disable mobile sites and get the actual web site like it would be displayed on a desktop computer.

Jan 27, 2010just bought my Droid on Sunday after the underwhelming Nexus One release. I'm using the Dolphin Browser and struggling to figure out how to get back to the mobile versions of sites. I know it was sending me to the mobile engadget site there at first, but lately I can only get to the full site. I'd really rather see the mobile one for loading time purposes. I remember on my Hero there was an option buried in the menu for this, but I can't find it on the Droid. Does it matter that I'm in Dolphin instead of the stock browser? And doesn't AndroidForums have a mobile version as well? Can't seem to get to that either.

Motorola Droid :: Mobile Video Sites Will Not Stream On Droid?
Dec 26, 2009looked for an answer on quite a few threads and forums on this one.on my moto droid, there are a couple mobile sites that will not stream video, but work on my old omnia, and my brothers htc hero. ie break mobile, the onion, and a few random other ones. sometimes it will play one video, then every other video from that server gives a "video not eligable for streaming on this device" or similar error message. it seems odd to me that some mobile vids will work on a hero but not the droid? or is it just my phone? anyone else fed up with this?

Aug 11, 2010All the new features sites said Flash 10 was part of Driod 2.2. 2.2 was pushed to my phone overnight and I installed it. However when I go to the Adobe Flash showcase, it says I don't have flash installed. So I search the market place and do not see flash as a download. Is this just something that will come later? I really don't read up on Driod all the time so I don't know all the news, just a regular user.

Apr 9, 2010When I am trying to download files from certain websites, including my school's website, the files attempt to download and complete almost instantly, usually with varying bytes or KB of data downloaded, not the full file. On my school's site I try to download a variety of file types including .pdf .doc .ppt and some .zip and it's the same thing with all of them, this has happened on several other sites as well, but usually I can download these file types without a problem. I am just wondering what could be causing this problem and if it is fixable.

Feb 10, 2010I rooted using the SMUpdater and am now running Sholes 2.03. To flash other ROMs, would it just be a matter of downloading the update.zip file and installing that from recovery?

Nov 9, 2010Failure. Ok I rooted using Visionary. Everything works great but my camera will not open so I thought I would flash with 2.2 and start over. See if that was the issue. I did a hard reset of the system and the phone is still rooted which I understand. My problem is I can't seem to figure out how to successfully flash. I downloaded both RSD Lite and SBF 2.2. I have attached my Droid X to my PC and checked debugging. I have opened the Droid X window on my PC which only shows my SD Card. I then go to my folder holding both RSD Lite and 2.2. I click on RSD Lite and open it and install it. After that I'm lost. Nothing happens. What am I suppose to do move forward.

Sep 24, 2010So I downloaded droid x bootstrapper and ROM manager, removed my NEXTHEME and black status bar, and when I tried to install the stock droid x 2.2 file from ROM manager it failed. not only that, all of my apps except for superuser app were deleted including launcher pro once it booted back up. it's almost as if I have a stock phone (i chose reboot from the recovery screen. did this flash the SBF by chance?) still says 2.1 update 1 for version. Jun 20, 2010As the title says, flash isn't working. Even if I go to here: Adobe Flash showcase for mobile (BETA) and click on a show it won't load. It looks like something is happening, but I can't view anything and after several minutes of waiting I give up. Is this a known problem and is there a solution?
If I go into astro and find com.adobe.flashplayer I click on the launch button and it says activity not found -com.adobe.flashplayer. I have droid w/ bb 0.2.1 running 800Mhz. I haven't added a new kernal or any theme.

I know on my incredible I got a flash and with a handy hacked apk from 2.2 I got full flash support, but from what I can tell i wont even get flash light on the X is that right?
