I accidentally opened a screen and can not get rid of it. I was looking at corporate calendar and now I have a large white no calendar events on my favorite screen that I can not get rid of. I do not have an exchange server to sync too at work.

Well I managed to get my hands on an X from my local VZW store this morning. First impression of the screen is that it is very washed out when compared to my old Droid. Side by side, the original Droid shows colors very vividly while the Droid X almost looks like it just made it past black and white. Just wanted to get some opinions on the screen from others. I also managed to play with a Samsung Vibrant at a T-mobile store and it was very beautiful, almost makes me want to return the X and wait for the fascinate to come out on VZW.
View 49 Replies View RelatedAll of the sudden a white line has appeared across the middle of my lock screen. If I open up the keyboard (so the screen becomes horizontal) the line also turns horizontal but doesn't go all the way across the screen (just extends the distance of the vertical width of the phone) The line does not appear when I log in, so it's not dead pixels. I tried changing the wallpaper, didn't do anything. Tried taking out the batter, but also didn't do anything. I tried the pixel fixer app, but again it's not dead pixels so obviously that didn't do anything either. Suggestions? I suppose the next step is to restore the phone to factor defaults (how do I do that?), unless someone has something else I can try

It's not bad enough to have a texture (I can't feel it if I rub my finger over it), but it does reflect the light in just a way that makes it fairly visible when a light background is displayed. I'm always very careful with my phone, and I have no idea how it got scratched.I've heard of numerous home remedy type fixes for screens, but some of them sound completely outlandish and some sound like they might damage the screen even worse. Is there any "real" way to fix it or am I stuck with the scratch?Also, does anyone have any recommendations for screen protectors? I've heard that lots of them mess with the touch screen or distort the picture. Are there any truly "good" screen protectors?

View 7 Replies View RelatedAfter the update when i hit the phone icon, the "favorites" icon used to be at the bottom right after the green call tab. now there is an icon for call history.
i cannot for the life of me get it back. verizon says it was lost after the upgrade. i put the "people" icon on my now when i need to call a friend who is on my "favorite" list, i hit that icon, it brings me to all contacts and at the bottom i then have to depress favorites which brings up groups, then hit favorites. like 4 steps to make a phone call?
anybody figure out how to get the favorite icon back on the phone screen?
Just looking for a simple way to remove the text below any icons on my home screen. For example, since I already know what the phone app icon looks like, there's no reason I need to see the text. This is purely for aesthetics.

I haven't had a problem until tonight.
I was using the stock browser on MySpace, finished what I was doing, logged out and used the back key to get back to the home screen, which I always do. I could never get back to the home screen, the farthest back it would take me was to the original MySpace login screen and I had to hit the home key to get back to the home screen.
When I now try to open the browser, it acts like it is loading, I see the status bar, which loads all the way, but other than that, the screen is completely white and stays that way - the whole screen is white and never does anything.
Could this have been caused by MySpace or maybe a browser issue that happened to occur while I was on MySpace?
I have cleared cache, cleared all data, rebooted a few times, force stopped it, killed it with advanced task manager and everything else I could think of.
LOCK screen aprears at the main screen, after boot the emulator boot up. I want to disable the locking at main screen, So that while next time i boot up my emulator not LOCK screen apears. Can any body suggest me best solution for this?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am root using unrevoked. I made a nandroid as soon as I rooted. I have since removed a bunch of the crap-ware and I would like to try custom roms. But I cant seem to make another nandroid backup. I have tried to do it through ROM Manager and through the volumedown+power. Both take me the the white evo screen and it just sits there. I haev been patient, but 45 minutes is long enough I think. I know y'all see this stuff all the time and it gets frustrating but I really have tried to understand and to read and to search and I haven't found a fix for this.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI rooted my Inc with the Evo tool, and installed a ROM through ROM manager, after deciding that I did not want to keep the ROM, I tried to restore back to the stock rooted ROM I had before through the clockworkmod/nandroid options. Now the phone is stuck at the white screen that reads, "htc incredible" and none of the buttons will cause anything to happen. I was debating on doing a battery pull and restarting, but I believe I read somewhere that doing so would brick the phone.
Update: Did a battery pull and was able to boot into the HBOOT and run the nandroid recovery again, I am trying it now to see if I can get back to the original ROM.

After rerestoring the phone, the boot animation runs all the way through and the phone starts back up.
Flashed a Fresh ROM, did a wipe cache and dalvik before flashing but now I'm stuck in the white htc evo 4g screen. Tried to reflash didn't work. I've pulled out the battery and powered on while holding volume down. This is what the screen reads:

I can boot into ClockworkMod Recovery v2.5.0.1 but my backup and nandroid files can't be located. Sometimes I get the Android with the exclamation point, sometimes not. PCIMG36.zip image can't be found either. I think my phone is screwed! I've searched through the forums and googled and tried out a many things but to no avail. Also, does doing all this through a Mac make a difference?
Been creating a theme last few days. I installed it on my phone, but before doing so i was a good boy and did a nandroid backup. Then i didnt like osme of the things i changed so i restored my backup i just did now its stuck after restoring on the white htc evo screen. NOT GOOD!! I even pulled the battery and SD Card...twice.

View 9 Replies View Relatedmy phone is stuck on the white screen that says htc incredible, now when i try to use the unroot method put the zip file. on the sd card and turn off phone and turn it on by holding the volume down and power button. when it tries to load the file as it should , it says no image or wrong image and does not load anything. now im stuck when i try to go into the recovery it lets me get there but i cant even wipe anything. it says something like E: Cant mount.
