just wondering if anyone knows if you will be able to listen to the world cup on the droid... i work at a grocery store throwing load and also ordering... im not wanting to watch it, just want to be able to listen to it while im working..

My Droid come tomorrow. I have not the slightest idea to use it. But my question is, Can you listen to the Droid in the car like the iPod??? Is there a certain way to make it work or an adapter to buy? I am very electronic illiterate!

Yesterday I surfed for about an hour, Pandora for an hour, 20 minutes of phone calls, 5-10 text messages and emails (short ones), and about a dozen photos taken at the lowest res the camera offers (keep 'em small).I played Jewels about an hour total.No GPS, No Wifi for the day.I don't do twitter, facebook, etc. and don't have any apps running that are drains like live wallpapers and other "monitoring" software.I started at about 7:30 and the phone shut off around 6:40 or so -- about 11 hours.This is with the "bump charge" so I started with a completely full battery.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI travel a lot and I'm always trying to listen to my local channels, iheartradio is the only streaming app that has the specific channel I want to hear. I have the Eris and it seems the streaming quality is not to good, constantly cutting out.
Question is would the Droid X pick up this station or this app better than the Eris?
I also have At bat MLB 2010, no problems what so ever it seems it plays no matter where I'm at, tried the NFL app to listen to the Bengals game last week it was almost as bad as iheartradio.
Is it more the app or the phone? I know my call reception with the Eris is not great. but like I said MLB comes in great.

I made an Android Hello world app and I'm trying to load it onto my HTC Incredible. Please select a target device. I'm on Ubuntu 64bit if that matters. I did turn on USB debugging on the phone. I told the phone to connect as a disk drive.Any ideas how to get my app onto the phone?Update: Do I need to perform these steps since I'm on Ubuntu? I doesn't mention what to do for Ubuntu 8.10 though.

View 26 Replies View RelatedSince the latest update of Listen, my phone seems to shut itself off when I'm listening to a podcast and I get an email notification. This happened once yesterday and then again this morning on my way to work. Actually it's more like it locks itself and becomes unresponsive. I have to remove the battery and then power on again. Yesterday I couldn't see it, but this morning the buttons lit up and the led blinked even when it was locked up but the screen just wouldn't come on. Anyone else out there using Listen and have this happen to them?

Okay this has me really stumped. I'm trying to listen to mp3s on my Captivate while it charges via the USB charging. When I try to use either Doubletwist I get the message "connected to computer and please eject the phone". When I try with the music player I get the message "SD card is being used as a mass storage device". I get these message if I have my phone hooked to a PC to charge, in my car or even plugged into a wall socket. Any idea why I can't charge it and listen to my mp3s at the same time?

I'm getting two bars Max 1 mostly. And everytime I'm listening to music using both airsync and even imediashare about 3 songs it music just stops. I figured it was my screen turning off so I kept it on and in the middle of my song it stops... then whenever I go to change the song on the 360 my Xbox freezes due to the app -.+ I can't seem to get any of these apps to work and its really frustrating because I just wanna listen to music. (Do not troll and tell me to buy a new router, Xbox, go to ps3 or any of those lame things.)

I recently switched from the HTC Wing to the Motorola Cliq (love the phone!) but I can't figure out how to listen to music or watch videos streamed from my computer (photos work ok).I was using ORB on my Wing and it worked great.I'm trying to use it on the Cliq but with little to no success (I've also tried using androrb with no luck).
