On the droid, I've got my corporate email, my gmail and my yahoo setup. However, when I click on a mailto link, it only sends from my corporate email.How can I change it so that I can select which account I want to send from when I click on a link?

I have a pop3 email account with my local ISP. I am unable to send mail from my Droid 2. Any advice? What am I doing wrong. I have all the settings correct as far as I can tell.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have searched and haven't been able to find any threads with one of my issues, so I apologize in advance if I missed one. Anyways, my DX has been working flawlessly since I got it back on 10/6. Sunday, 10/31, my DX quit syncing just my corporate Exchange 2003 emails, then yesterday it started not sending emails as well and now, this morning, it quit syncing my personal email. Corporate email will sync manually, just not push. I have rebooted several times, pulled the battery several times, and also deleted both my Exchange account and my personal account and re-added both and the problem still persists. I don't have any task killer apps installed and haven't recently added any apps since the issues started. Anyone have an idea what may be causing the lack of push (in and out) on both of my accounts?

a. having multiple email accounts into my google account and not being able to find how to select which one I reply from, or being able to select which email address I am sending from when composing a new email?
b. any way to easily access google contacts (or plaxo for that matter?)?
c. is there a way to remove apps / shortcuts from home screens - seems jolly easy to ADD them, but not remove them !
Okay so I have a friend who has no phone so best way to talk to him is send him an email. I used to have a blackberry and I just added his email address as a contact and display name was also his email address to keep it simple. I would then do new sms and I can make him a recipient and it works just fine. Now I'm trying the same technique with my evo but when I do a new text message he doesn't show up cuz he has no phone nbr only an email address. So I have to manually type his long email address every time I want to send him a msg. I've tried using chompsms and handcent but no luck. so any ideas on how i can make the process easier and not have to type his email every time?

I have tried pressing keys on the keyboard (if only there was a ctrl+A function) and looking under every menu i can find. Does anyone have any idea as to how i could do this?

Now it doesn't update once I receive the emails or make a sound.. I have it so it supposed to but still does not. Anyone know what to do about this and how to make send/receive as soon as it comes not every 5 mins?

Recently, I decided to deactivate my Facebook account since I don't really use it anymore. I have always had it listed in my accounts with Google and Twitter, and now I want it removed. Every time I try to remove it from my accounts on my phone, I get an error message. Any ideas why it's getting an error and what I can do to fix it?

Is this correct? Do all email accounts go through a Motorola server? The same thing happens with setting up Facebook, MySpace and other services.

I go through Set up Email, type in my email address, password and then click next. It doesn't work. I then go back and hit manual setup, but I don' the answers. I'm assuming it's an IMAP account?

I have my hotmail setup on my X. and recently every few hours it shows every mail in my inbox as new. I go and mark them all as ready and then somewhere in the 2 to 24 hour range it will do it again.

Emails received in that account go to GMail and I can send an email from GMail but put the "from" email address as my school email). I can't figure out how to do this on my Droid though.
