Motorola Droid :: How To Clear Search History In Youtube / Marketplace?
Nov 22, 2009Does anyone know how to clear the history in youtube or marketplace? Disclaimer-It's not from searching for inappropriate things rather it is knowing it can be done. I have not been able to locate a way to do this, anyone figure it out? The browser and the main menu history is easy to reset, but youtube and marketplace seem impossible.

Nov 7, 2010i have an ATT xperia x10a flashed to 2.1 and rooted. I have titanium so i know the root worked. When i try to search for barnacle wifi tether in the marketplace nothing shows up? Also internet nor marketplace work without wifi, texting does though. There is no 3G or Edge symbols beside my bars either.

Nov 15, 2010Before, when I pressed the search button (the one with the magnifying glass) it cued up the google search bar. Now, after theming, the search button does nothing from the homescreen, but does still work while in applications, the browser, the market, etc. I am running launcher pro, deodexed w/ revolution.

I installed gesture search last night and now one of my few gripes with the phone is solved. I hated having to having to hold the options button to bring up a keyboard and then having to clear my last entry to start another search.

Sep 2, 2010Rooted my droid X using the one click method, and since doing that I can't download ANYTHING from the android marketplace. all that happens is that I get the orange triangle icon in the task bar that says "Program A" can't download.
I have 'unrooted' my phone using the same method and nothing seems to help. I also read that there was a link to google talk and that I would need to log into google talk's app and it would be fixed. Well, google talk won't let me log in, says it can't connect.
Note that all other Internet features, and google voice still work great. Any ideas?

Sep 29, 2010I love the droid x, but I cannot purchase anything from the market place. It's really starting to bug the shit out of me. I have done a factory rest and tried a battery pull...nothing is working. This droid x works great besides the marketplace issue. What can I do to fix this?

Nov 23, 2009Looks like there is a newer version of Google Maps in the market than that which is on the Droid. On the Droid = 3.2.0 in market place is 3.2.1. I installed it and the navigation and all still seems to be there. Not sure what was in the updates but it did upgrade the version number.

Feb 22, 2010I had about 70 or so apps between paid and free. All were listed in my download list on the market as installed or if i uninstalled a paid app it would still say purchased for downloading again at a later time. After using the wipe but keep apps method on droidmod 1.0, i got back about 90 percent of my apps. I lost a few paid and free ones, no problem right? just re-download, no biggie because i already purchased them. Well al my paid apps have prices next to them, i cannot update any paid apps without having to purchase them again. I checked google checkout and all the receipts are still there. Also all the free apps work on my phone but none say installed in market, they say free so in order to update them i must re-download and guess that they have a new release out. Any ideas, did i get semi disconnected from the cloud by doing the wipe but keep apps method?As it stands i will loose 40 bucks or so in apps if i want to update any of them which is no big deal but its just the thought.

1. What exactly is "freezing" an app? Will it remove the app from the app drawer? Will it just prevent it from running?
2. Can I use Titanium backup to delete apps that are safe for delete like amazon.mp3, etc?
3. If I "freeze" an app like backup assistant will it still be on the phone so that it doesn't brick if I do a reset?
4. Can I delete or freeze things like crap ringtones so they don't show up when I am setting a ringtone?

Aug 30, 2010This morning when I checked my phone, it was unable to update or download anything from the marketplace. So all the apps that have automatic uploading are dead. I know since the second 2.2 build my phones been really glitch telling me I am not logged in or can't connect.

Aug 16, 2010Hi everyone, I recently flashed sapphire 1.0.0, frozen yogurt, bugless beast 0.4 with clockwork mod recovery V 2.0.1.3, and had success with all roms above, except for the fact that in sapphire, i'm greeted by the droid setup tutorial, which is completely non-responsive, (I remove the setupwizard.apk from the Gapps .zip which causes it to set up without a hitch), and in all of the mentioned roms, when I attempt to use gmail, gtalk, or the market they all crash on startup. In the market I see a hint of the EULA before im booted back to the home screen. I'm coming from 2.2 build number "voles-userdebug 2.2 FRFxx 49593 test-keys".

I also installed a copy of it on a device directly, perhaps as an email attachment.If I upload an updated version of the app to the marketplace, will the device be notified that a new version of the app exists on marketplace?
