How can i hide an app from the app drawer?In the threads i read and searched for they all said it can be done with root access, but no one ever says how it can be done.As a side note, I still want to have access to the app using keyboard shortcuts.I have tried home replacement apps, but they are so unstable. I also tried "App Vault", but this doesn't let you access the app while it is hidden.Can anyone help me please?

My phone is rooted. I want to be able to hide app icons from app drawer. But i want to be able to use it.
I tried CCSW App Manager but when it hides, i couldn't be able to use.
For example 2cloud. When i am going to share url, i can use it from right click. But i don't want 2cloud icon in appdrawer.
Is there a way to hide the notification/status bar while browsing? I'd like it to disappear when I'm using it to watch a flash movie.
View 7 Replies View RelatedOk, I've searched the forums a bit and found a couple other folks with the same problem as I have. I picked up my droid yesterday and synced it to my gmail, and facebook. Pulled every single contact from both, sweet! Except there were some I didn't care to have in my phonebook..shoot. So I was going through and "Deleting" the ones I didn't want, and as they were facebook contacts it just hid them from me. I know they are still there, as I exported my vCard to gmail and looked through the contacts. I see the ones I want (and don't want) in there so they exsist..but I can't find where to set them to show in my contacts list again. I tried just re-adding them to my contacts, but that didn't really work either..anything short of factory resetting my phone that I can do to fix my flubup?

I've seen home replacement apps that will do this, but I'd REALLY prefer if there was a workaround to that, since everytime I've used one of those it's slowed down the phone considerably.

No it's really annoying.Every once in a while I'll click on my app drawer and it's completely blank.Closing it and reopening it doesn't seem to work. I have to wait about ~1 minute for it to start working again.Also, when I wake my phone up and unlock it, I can't swipe to a different screen for about 10 seconds after I unlock the phone.It's also rather annoying.Has anyone ran into these problems and have a solution?I did some searching on here and the only thing I could find was this issue with people who are running different ROM's.I am running stock.

I'm looking for a widget for my last home page I need to finish customizing that will give me the ability to look at my App Drawer (the Apps I use frequently and want to display with LP Plus - while hiding ones I don't want to show up).
With my G1 it was possible to hide apps from the drawer, but I can't remember if that was something somone enable via a ROM or a separate app. Anyone with a Droid able to leave an app installed and fully functional, but hide it so it doesn't show up in the app drawer?

It looks like a figure wearing a ninja suit holding a rifle and it says superuser permissions under it. When I click on it all that shows up is a black screen and brings up nothing when I press the menu key. Any ideas on what it's from and how to remove it.

It said something about using the camera button to take a screenshot "but don't forget to turn it off when you are finished" Now pushing the cam button gives me a presestent "screenshot failed" message that hangs there for minutes on the screen, I don't remember the name of the app, have looked CAREFULLY thru all the apps installed to no avail, nothing like that is shownig in TasKiller, nothing in the download list.Driving me crazy.
