I'm looking for a Droid pouch case that goes on your belt in the horizontal position. I bought the one from Verizon and it is lined with plastic. I want one that fits nice and is lined with leather. I use the home and car dock frequently therefore I think a holster is the best style of case for me. If anyone has found a generic one that fits the Droid well let me know?

View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter searching and waiting for the solution I wanted I decided to take matters into my own hands. Features I was looking for:
1: Did not want to have to slide the droid out of a pocket
2: Access to camera
3: Access to rocker and usb
4: ID/Credit card slots
5: Money Slot
I also have the features via apps via Mobile Defense and Find My Droid,I will never lose my wallet again. Actually I am a roofer with time on his hands and ADD So this is the finished product I made with a space age product.You can view photos here because I can not figure out how to download photos on this site.
Anyone find a decent holster/pouch for their droid? Most of the ones out there seem to use magnets, which I've read is a bad idea.I want one that at least somewhat protects the corners so that I can take the hard shell (Body Glove) off (although I think I'm going to get one of the invisible shields for it).

Much to my surprise they have, and it's coming soon! I still want a Defender case, but the Commuter is a nice series as well.DROID by Motorola Commuter Series Case // OtterBox.com What is nice about this though, the Otterbox case has plugs for all the ports on the Droid to keep out dust/ water and is made from a three layer protective material that absorbs shock fairly well, yet remaining slender. If you've ever dealt with their iPhone cases, you know how awesome they are.
View 49 Replies View RelatedMy Seidio Innocase and the Zagg shield saved my droid today. I made a boneheaded move and left the droid on my car bumper and shut the hatch. There's very little space there. Phone got jammed in. The screen had a big line across it. I thought it was cracked but it was just dirt. The innocase now has a dent on each end...it clearly saved the phone.

The blackberry therefore knew when it was in the case and when it wasn't. I'd make the Blackberry lock as soon as I put it in the case. Is there a way to do this same functionality for a droid?

I got a Droid 2 car dock based on the recent video and it does not work with the protective case. I have the protective case that Verizon sells with the criss-cross pattern on it. I don't see any other markings to identify it more clearly.
I need a solution where I can dock the Droid in the car (with power to the Droid) while still in the case. Does anyone know of a combination that works? I searched the forums but could not find an answer to this specific request.

I am three weeks out of warranty now and they refused to replace the top. I like my case, but I will never buy a Seidio again. What good is a case if the top doesn't stay on after 4 months? I hope the otterbox case i try next will be better.

View 7 Replies View RelatedFirst one broke 2 weeks ago I don't know what from but I've never dropped the phone with the case on and next thing I know I took it out of my pocket and the face plate was broken in the top right corner.This evening as I was walking home with my phone and case on it that I just got replaced about 5 days ago I dropped my phone screen down first, I thought it was done. Luckily it was safe though again the face plate is broken on my case.
I'm getting yet another replacement from Otterbox which is good..Really wish I could get a refund or voucher to use on their site for the cost of the case.
