I've been using autolock since I got the droid and loved it. The problem is that autolock isn't froyo compatible. Are there any other apps that work like autolock and is froyo compatible?

Is the recently leaked froyo update for droid compatible with the milestone?
I'm in Canada but I bought the european droid online....
Will flashing a froyo rom on the hero make it compatible with flash 10.1? For instance, flashing the Elelinux rom based on froyo or the upcoming Froyo Sense Rom, VillainRom 13. Just wondering if it would work.

View 1 Replies View RelatedEver since I rooted and flashed a couple ROMs my Pandora audio quality has been CRAP. I have searched for answers in this forum and have come up empty handed... I really like the performance I'm getting now that I'm rooted but Pandora is a must have for me - so if I can't get it fixed I'll have to go back to stock - BOO. Does anyone know of a ROM that gives the same audio quality as the stock 2.1 OS? Or does anyone know if I'm maybe just doing something wrong?

Personally I loved the old stock messaging app and I would LOVE to have it back. I know there's the whole issue of it not being compatible but if anyone has gotten it to work I would love to know. I don't want to have to go back to Handcent.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe reason why I am asking this is because I want to set myself up for the vanilla rom. From what I have read, the blur messaging us taken out. (Obviously) but despite its ugliness, I just love the fact that I can send video and if its too big, it redirects me to edit length. I am currently running handcent and handcent does not redirect me to video edit lite. So my question is what messaging ap will allow me to send videos the same way the stock app does? Another thing is that I can't even view videos sent to me from handcent, and almost every mms is sent as a slideshow (on both messaging apps). Is there any way around that?

This is a deal breaker for me and im sure lots of people will use the navigation with the dash mount but this will stop lots of sales of the clip/case combo. hopefully seideo or someone will think of this and make a case that will work for both belt clip and dash mount. Looks like the protection film guys will get lots of business from this.

I know I could switch the autolock off in the settings but was just wondering if there was a way it would change the setting itself when its plugged into the charger.

Now I have my phone connected with Work exchange and a lot of emails are confidential, which is the reason, why I have set password on my lockscreen, to prevent anyone getting into my phone in case I would loose it.
These two wifi networks, are however very safe place for me, and place where I use my phone the most, and typing in the password every moment when I need to access my phone is not effective, and can get quiet frustrating.
The idea was, that the phone would automatically switch off the password protection, if connected to one of those networks, and when in out of reach from those networks, phone would again required password to type in order to access it.
Is there a way to remove the autolock on my BH2? I found a solution on the market called No Lock. It works AWESOME.

View 37 Replies View RelatedI'm just wondering if there is any way of turning the screen autolock off on my xperia 10 mini? It has always been an option available on other phones, you can either lock the keys manually or set an auto lock for them to lock after like a few seconds or minutes etc. Yet this seems to be missing from the x10 mini. I don't mind the screen switching off (to save battery), that happened on my last phone, but the keys (screen) didn't lock at the same time, you just tap the screen to 'wake' the phone again, and it should wake in its previous setting too, such as in the messages folder, or on a internet screen, or on the music player etc. Its kinda frustrating when you are in a lengthy text conversation and they reply just after the screen goes off and you are forever unlocking the phone when it is just sat on the desk in front of you. Same as if you are reading a document and you put the phone down then have to unlock it again when you come back to it. Its kinda annoying. I am more than capable of locking the phone myself when I want to put it in my pocket. Anyone else got any tips? I want to avoid putting the screen time out on 'never' because then I'll be forever locking the screen to conserve battery (and no doubt someone will text just after I lock it.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIve just noticed today that with the phone locked, upon recieving a call the phone switches to being unlocked even after the call is finished. i do look after this phone much more than i have done with other mobiles, but it strikes me that if i do misplace it, the first thing i do is get a mate to ring me to see if its under somthing or at someones house ect. it seems that doing this unlocks the phone for anyone to use or to have a nosey through your personal stuff..is there an autolock after call feature? or an app that does this?
