I got the kit kat software update on my t mobile Note 3 yesterday. now today trying to save to my sd card isnt working. I can still access things on it fine but anything new I try to save gives me an error and some have said not enough space even though I have 30gb free on a 64gb card. SM-N900T

In almost all browsers (except chrome) I can't use file browsers. For example, if I wanted to attach a picture to this post I can't. I can click manage attachments, but when I choose "choose fie", nothing opens.
It used to work, so I think it's something to do with 4.4?
I have a galaxy note 3, 4.4 kitkat
Omega rom (which has always worked, but hasn't since 4.4, even on stock rom)
Is it because it's changed to emulated0?
I am having an issue with Yahoo Mail app on my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 running 4.4.
Initially when I was using the Yahoo Mail App on my 12.2 with contacts synced. I was able to successfully use the autofill in the "To" bar. But for some unknown reason autofill no longer works. I have uninstalled and reinstalled YM app a few times and there is no change. I have alse cleared cache on Contacts with no dice either.
I have a Note 3 Bell Canada and have not touched it at all other than the OTA update from 4.3 JB to KK 4.2.2. I of course read the woes and pro's of KK 4.2.2 after I did the update!! grin! and do not like the restricted access to my SD card folder creation file transfers etc and want to go back to JB. "A", can I go back with Odin and a stock Bell JB for the note 3, and have it all back like I did before the update...."B" What about my trip counter etc? Will that be effected?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am on Three UK, and I manually searched for an update for my Galaxy Note 3 today, while on my wireless network. My phone showed that a KitKat 4.4.2 update was available which was approx. 391 MB in size. Downloaded and installed it.
The install worked fine, but after the install, my phone seems to be draining the battery at 1% every minute. I have turned off GPS, wireless, mobile data etc. but to no avail.I don't even have Skype installed on my phone (as Google asked some users to uninstall Skype)
My tags (album names, artists, etc) won't edit or save on my music within my SD card. It shows perfectly fine on my laptop, computer, and iPod. Yet, simple things like merging albums together, renaming artists from "the" to "The" will not show on my Galaxy S5.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIve had this micro sd card for at least 4 months. Its 32gb. I was using it on my galaxy s4 and it worked perfect. A week ago i got a galaxy note 3 and used it on my note 3 and worked perfect until yesterday every time i locked the screen, when i unlocked it it would say card was removed and like seconds later it sayd card inserted and installing. Then it would work. And everytime i lockd and unlockd the phone it would happen until it stopped working. I tryd putting the 32gb card on another phone and it didnt work. I tryd a different card on the note 3 and it worked. Only the 32gb stopped working. Ive restartd the phone. Took out the battery. Took out the sd card and put it in again and nothing worked. I tryd puttin the sd card on the computer and it doesnt even give me a signal that i inserted the card. Nothing happens. Oh and i forgot to say it stopped working and then after like 10 mins it came back working until the screen Got locked again and when i unlocked it then that was it, the card was gone and hasnt given any signal since then. Not even on the computer. I didnt download anything to the card or done anything that could of done this. It Just happend.

This is an app that will allow you to toggle on or off, the screen lock with pattern or code. You turn on screen lock with pattern, (or whatever security type), then use this app to toggle it enabled or disabled...
If the phone is in my pocket, (yeah, note 2 in pocket...lol.) I have lock screen enabled so it won't stay on if a text comes in, or an update / notification. If I'm using phone, I disable the lock screen, so even if the screen times out, the home button will bring it up and back to where I was without a swipe or lock pattern.
So, am I missing something? I think I have tried all the settings I can see, trying to get the app to work. The only way it works slightly, is if I set the phone to only swipe to unlock, no security. Then I can toggle swipe or no swipe. But that does me no good in my pocket. If a text comes in and wakes the phone up, my pocket can swipe to unlock or just keep the screen on from the moisture? or body heat?, or whatever the screen reacts to.
The app I use is No Lock by BoD... It has always worked on my S3, and worked on my Note2, before this last update.
a friend of mine has updated his Phone and now his Whatsapp does'nt work, he uninstalled Whatsapp and did a battery pull on the Phone, and then he installed it back on the Phone and it is still not working, i remembber he has the latest software of Whatsapp

View 2 Replies View RelatedI went upgrading from Jelly Bean to KitKat 4.4.2 on my Note-3 (T-Mobile), and since upgrading, the Note-3 no longer transfer data at USB 3.0 speed anymore, only regular 2.0 speed. i tried using new 3.0 cables, still the same issue, and my other 3.0 devices work in the USB 3.0 port on my computer with no problem. And on my phone, even the menu choice for 3.0 no longer shows as a third optioned. i downloaded and install Kies 3 and the USB drivers from Samsungs website, the same with there Galaxy Note-3 after upgrading to KitKat.

I go to settings> Device> Sound> Volume and the system sound volume is set to mute or at the left hand end of the volume bar with no way to increase it.

I deleted some videos by accident and I need to get them back. I don't have any added memory, everything is written to the internal storage. ALL of the recovery software I have tried is asking for USB mass storage or doesn't work.
DiskDigger App also doesn't work. I read that mass storage is no longer available on 4.4.2. Supposedly everything connects with some new system called MTP.
How can I get my files back from the internal memory? There MUST be some way to do this. There must be some way to read the entire internal storage disk!

I'm on Android 4.3 Galaxy Note 3 (ATT) and suddenly I started to see one or two recently installed apps turn into grey icons that say SD on them. I removed my SD card and then suddenly I noticed all~ of my recently installed apps turn into grey icons and when I tap on them - it goes to the google play store and says the apps have not been installed. Upon reinserting the card, the apps return.
What gives? I don't want this and it just started happening out of nowhere.
