May 2, 2014When i want to open a pdf on my s4 mini it is opened by polaris and suddenly without showing anything polaris is clossed......i dont know whats wrong with that.............

Jun 4, 2014I'm using Micromax Canvas fun a 74 android phone with jellybean.Last Day i updated my apps using Mobogenie PC Client and I got a new problem.Some of my apps started to misbehave after this Update. Like,If i try to open MX player,It says "Unfortunately MX Player has stopped".I tried uninstalling it and installed it again.No use.Still it shows the same problem. Not my MX player has problem.Even Google search has this problem.It stops after i try to search something.

Oct 19, 2013I recently bought a Nexus 4 running Jelly Bean 4.3, as many of you know it comes with Chrome as the main browser. I was able to receive website URLs from other NFC capable devices and they would open on Chrome as expected.
I then installed Firefox and now when I receive a URL through NFC they are opening on Firefox and not Chrome. I've looked everywhere to find a way to specify that it should use Chrome and not Firefox but can't find it. As I said, this is just after I installed Firefox, it didn't prompt me to choose which browser to use so it's not that I accidentally say always use Firefox for that action. If I go Settings -> Apps -> Firefox, under 'Launch by Default' there's nothing set.

Feb 1, 2014After my phone froze, I just got it back from repairs. NOTHING works anymore. All apps, messages etc. gone. That would all have been alright, if it wasn't for the inability to reinstall apps, re-configure mail, facebook and bank. Running Android 4.1.2 btw
PROBLEMS
- can no longer choose to login to a Google account - that option simply doesn't appear in "accounts"
- Clicking tabs: Google drive, google +, Gmail, Play store, maps, causes rhe program to flash open and close instantly. Many videos showing this particular thing.
FIXES, TRIED AND FAILED
.:: Play store and downloads: Tried stopping app and clearing data - cache wasn't an option, since nothing had been used.
.:: Was able to update "play store", dont remember the exact version, with the newest file found on Android Police. Installed. Didn't work.
.:: Resetting: Went back to factory settings twice. Also tried a hard reboot.
.:: Any install/download button I click is non-responsive, by the way.
.:: Managed to get chrome working (still unable to sign into account via that), and downloaded that update from Android police

Sep 18, 2013I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy s4 mini and have realized that my contacts seem to appear on the screen very slow. It sometimes takes upto 2 minutes to appear. Some thing you all should know is that I have 2000+ contacts (mainly clients).
At first I was using google contacts and i assumed this was causing it to lag due to using data to refresh... but I transferred all the contacts to the device itself... so it shouldn't lag anymore!
When people even call... there name doesnt appear, and only the phone number shows, even though I have the number installed in my contacts. This is also the case with text messages. When I want to compose a new text, and search for a contact... it doesnt do anything for about a minute or two.
I have opened the developer mode, and changed the animations to off, but this hasnt solved the problem.

Dec 2, 2013i have samsung galaxy s3 mini.and like today my phone fell in water... first everything was ok, but then when i locked it, it will automaticly turn on... i tried everything, like buy a new battery, factory reseted it, deleted all the apps but it didnt work.... so the problem is: i always have screen timeout on 15 seconds... and when i LOCK my phone, it actually turns it back on on the lock screen. like before it would do that if i pressed any button on phone, but now it does it automatic. and its very annoying because i cant even sleep without my phone blinking all the time(i have my phone near the bed because of the alarm clock)..

Instead of vibrating and playing the required sounds, it will simply beep a couple times and that's it. I understand that it can't play any sounds while I'm on the phone, but is there any way to at least get it to vibrate at the time of the alarm?

Nov 10, 2013I can send SMS and MMS with the stock 4.1.2. messaging app on wifi or cell data just fine, but no 3rd party app including Hangouts 2.0 will send MMS messages.
I've tried GoSMS Pro, Textra, Handcent, Hangouts,... nothing else will send an MMS. It tries, and then just switches over to retrying until I force quite the app, or send another regular, text only message.
I've tried signing in/out, Hard reset, turning it off and on again,...
I'm using stock 4.1.2. on a ZTE Savvy with Straight Talk on Verizon towers.

Nov 11, 2013I am using Profile Scheduler +, and have set the default ringtone to the stock SMS app to specific sound (Sound 02) since it only works for stock apps and not 3rd party ones.
In GoSMS, I get dual notifications. When I select the setting (Disable Other Message Notification), I don't get dual notifications on the notification bar and Sound 02 does not play.
how to get rid of the dual notification but may it use Sound 02 as the default? I have Sound 01 used the default notification for emails, etc.
